Description
I'm 52 years old, married and have two grown up children. I'm a teacher for English and Maths. I have a sabbatical this school year and take the chance to travel around to other continents than Europe.
We live in the countryside and I love to take care of my big garden including growing vegetables and fruits and process them. Other hobbies are hiking, reading, riding and playing boardgames like Catan. As I grew up with animals (dogs, cats, horses, goats, ...) I 'm very keen on working with animals of any kind. I also have intensive experiences in gastronomy.
I love to get to know people from all over the world and learn how they live in their country. At the moment I' m having the chance to travel to countries which are not in Europe and I want to take it.

I'm good at working in the garden and with animals. As I like to cooperate with people and help them if I can I'm good in working in gastronomy as well. As a mother and teacher I'm very good in organization and I love to help where I can. I'm a very sunny person, have no problems in getting my hands dirty and always think in a positive way.

I loved having Ina stay and help out in the garden and house. Ina works hard and communicates well. We had some great discussions about many things in life. Ina has her own house and garden in Germany and understands what needs to be done. I wish her well in her travels and hope we can meet up again sometime in the future. Thanks Ina!

I stayed with Carole for four weeks and I absolutely loved it. She is a very educated person and we had marvelous conversations. My first Workaway experience was brillant thanks to Andrea, Sorn, Nina, Hugo and Maple. I stayed for ten days and had a very pleasant time. Andrea is a marvelous cook and I was given great ideas to explore the area. The surrounding of their home is absolutely beautiful.
