Description
What motivates me? Human growth and flourishment. These things take different shapes in all of our lives, and it is a true blessing to witness them in action, and to share the fruits of my own strivings towards these goals.
What brings me happiness? Oh man... So many things. Exercise and movement, people around me, those closest to me as well as those I have only a minute encounter in this life, a good book, music, nature, dipping in Finnish lakes no matter the time of the year, sauna, good food, a great movie or a TV-series. But I guess these are more concrete, tangible things. I have slowly been learning the skills of meditation, gratitude and prayer. I would say these are things that fill me with happiness, and not as straight forward actions as taking a sauna haha.

Right now I am learning Spanish, and having a lot of fun on the journey! I am taking courses on it in university, and would love to have a host I could practice with! Hopefully I will be able to teach it someday. I can teach English if needed, as I have spoken it as a second language ever since I could speak Finnish. My mother is an English teacher, she had a bad influence on me in that way I guess. Fun fact, she also happens to be a workawayer!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Oof, my skills and expertise. Tough spot for a Finn. Well I am very adaptive. I have been to many different places around the world in my short life, and gotten to know all kinds of people, so I have learned how to communicate with people from all kinds of backgrounds, values and beliefs. I have also played team sports all my life, which has taught the importance of communication when striving together toward a goal.
I have experience working in widely different surroundings, such as construction (in Finland and in the US!), office work in Sweden, service industry, refereeing floorball matches. But you probably don´t know what that is. Well you just need to know it has greatly improved my ability to work and make decisions under pressure, even though I don´t think many hosts are looking for such a quality haha. Otherwise through my work experience I have learned how to work with my hands, what it means to serve other people, as well as patience and humility.
I can also tell you a lot about the economy, political philosophy, and psychology. As I am a university student with studies in these topics, to mention a few.

I love to play all kinds of board games with family and friends. Currently I am really feeling Catan!
I don´t know if I have hobbies per say, but I have mentioned a lot of the things I do on regular basis during a normal week. Only thing that comes to my mind is that I write a lot as well. Mostly by hand, and I am thinking about getting into calligraphy, but for now I am happy with just practicing my handwriting with a regular pencil.
