Description

Hi! We are Marco (Italian) & Funa (Japanese).

We are traveling the east coast between Sunshine Coast and Newcastle.

EXPERIENCE:
We spent our last 2 years in Byron Bay volunteering mainly at Byron Yoga Retreat Centre and other hosts found through local connections so it's the first times we are to use the app:
- Funa worked in Housekeeping and Kitchen while also teaching Yoga classes.
- Marco worked in the garden and developed experiences in mowing, weeding, whipper snipper, preparing beds, harvesting, bush regeneration.

We are committed workers and both pretty adaptable to the different realities encountered while volunteering. Off-grid solutions, diy buildings, permaculture, farm stays are extremely interesting for us as it's something we dream to realize on our return to Europe.

ACCOMMODATION:
We are opened to different accommodation options, whether rooms or caravans stays would be offered, we also have a comfortable van.

ABOUT US:
Funa has an online job and in case volunteers support would be needed mainly in the garden, Marco is happy to cover some of her hours.

We are both in love with cooking and in recent experiences we found it also a great way to volunteer cooking our traditional dishes (Italian and Japanese) for the hosting family or community.

We are tidy in house and committed workers, and love spending our free time at the beach, practicing Yoga and hiking.
