Hi, my name is Marina! I'm an ambitious Software Engineering student with a passion for nature, exploring different cultures, and continuously learning new things. I grew up on the island of Brač in Croatia but spent my winters in Sarajevo. Since childhood, I’ve loved mountains and camping, and I also enjoy board games and social activities.

I have experience volunteering at children's camps and have been involved in Workaway projects previously. My most recent volunteering places were Azores in Portugal (where I gained knowledge in gardening and construction work) and Tenerife in Spain(where I volunteered in a hostel). One of my favorite experiences was working on a farm in Switzerland, where I learned a lot about gardening and fieldwork. I'm also passionate about analog photography, books and team sports .

I have experience working in Marketing,Tech,Animation and Hospitality.

Through my future volunteering experiences, I look forward to gaining new skills, meeting inspiring people, and hearing their unique stories!

My mother tongue is Croatian, I am more than open to those who are interested in learning that language. My English is good. In Croatia, from the age of 7, children learn English in schools. Considering my many years of learning English, I consider myself a candidate for teaching children's first foreign language. Im also interested in learning any new languages and practicing the ones I already know a bit.
