Hi I’m Mia, I am 20 years old and a, currently in my second gap year after completing my a levels in 2023. I am very outdoorsy,walking, hiking, horse riding, cycling, outdoor swimming etc. I live on a small holding farm so enjoy being around animals and working with them.
I love to travel and experience the different cultures and new communities.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I am currently in my second gap year since 2023. I am looking for some fun working experience and travelling opportunities throughout my last summer before I start my new job in September this year. I have previously spent a lot of time in Italy, my family coming from the Apennine region, I luckily have Italian citizenship so was able to apply for my codice fiscale in the summer of 2023 to then go out and work the winter ski season in the small ski resort town of Abetone, Pistoia.
I picked up a good level of conversational Italian whilst working in a restaurant 6-7 days a week, I absolutely loved my time and made many life long friends .
At home I work in various areas, one being a kids tennis camp club during holidays, coaching and leading activities with kids aged between 4-10.
I have lots of experience with animals, growing up on a small holding farm we’ve got a small herd of cattle, a horse, chickens, guinea pigs, and a beautiful dog :). I love to work with them and have always had a passion for animals and animal care. Living on a farm there’s always lots of outdoor jobs to help with, logging, splitting, tidying up, moving cattle, cleaning pens etc.
I live with my family, mum, dad, older and younger brother and a younger sister! We’re currently all at home making for a busy house hold, but I love it ! With my dad unfortunately in a wheelchair and my mum still working 3 days a week, I take on a lot of the responsibilities within the home, laundry, cleaning, cooking, shopping and lifts etc. I don’t mind this at all and enjoy the organisation and feeling I’ve made my share of the contribution to maintaining our beautiful home and its occupants.
