Description

Hi, I’m Mona from Germany. I finished school five years ago and spent half a year traveling and working on a farm through Workaway – it was an amazing experience! I'm now looking forward to continuing my travels during my semester break.

I’m currently studying veterinary medicine, fulfilling my dream of working with animals and helping them in my everyday life.

I love traveling because it allows me to learn so much about different cultures and ways of life. I’m always excited to gain new work experience and meet new people!

Spending time around animals, especially horses, brings me a lot of joy. I also care deeply about the environment. In my free time, I enjoy sports – I play volleyball and go horse riding.

So far, I’ve had three wonderful farm stays through Workaway, and I’m looking forward to discovering even more new places!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

One of my favorite hobbies is playing volleyball. I really enjoy being active as part of a team, and I love the spirit and energy that comes with it.

I worked in a café for three months, where I gained valuable experience in customer service. I am open-minded, friendly, and able to take on responsibility.

Working with animals is something I truly enjoy. I have experience in horse riding and spent three months on a farm with horses, goats, and donkeys. In addition, I worked for three weeks on a cattle farm and another three weeks with horses. During this time, I learned a lot about these amazing animals!

Through my studies, I have gained a solid understanding of animals and how to handle and interact with them in a respectful and caring way:)
