Hello there !
I am a French woman travelling in Australia with a working holiday visa! I have arrived in Melbourne about a month ago after traveling a bit through Victoria, Sydney and Adelaide.

I came in Australia hoping to leave my bad habits behind, and grow as a person. I want to learn new things, see new things and discover the world !

The last month in Melbourn has been a little difficult, due to job search and all, it is one of the reason I have decided to start looking for hosts on the platform. Partially to find an accomodation in exchange of actual work (I'm tired of being idle!), and secondly because I feel like I spent too much time already in Australia without really diving into the culture. I'd love to meet some people from here, and learn more about your country!

One of my goals would be to know at least 5 languages. I'd love to learn mostly Mandarin some day, I have very basic Portuguese as well and would love to actually learn the language. Open to learn anything, and of course, in exchange teach French if you want :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

It is my first time using this type of platform, so I apologize if my "expertise" seem quite limited!
I haven't had much opportunity to do manual activities, most my experience there has been helping my mom repainting chairs, furnitures, doors (in a bright yellow color, very fancy!), building up few furnitures (from Ikea...) and perhaps, changing light bulbs. But I am willing to learn, I'd love to learn actually and gain new skills!
I'm not much of a foodie myself, but I do know how to follow a recipe, and I love to bake, I guess I would say my specialty are pancakes.

I am a fan of looooong walks in the city and hiking, I can walk around 20/30 km per day.
I am a big fan of video games as well, coming here I had to say bye to my computer sadly, but it has been one of my main hobbies forever (I started playing before I could even speak properly). Thanks to that, I have at least , a basic understanding of computers and would be glad to assist if you need anything related to that.
I do love reading as well, I listen to a lot of music (you will often see me with my headphones on), watching youtube/series/films.
I do like board games, mostly cooperative, and I love to do quizzes as well!

Just for you to know, I will be working as an Uber delivery partner, I choose my schedule so I can be flexible and adapt to your working time (and be available when you need me!). But I might not be able to do 30h+ a week.
