Hi,

I'm salomé, i'm 28 years old, I'm from Paris in France 😊 I also have lebanese nationality.
I finished my studies in October 2020 and after that I have been travelling one year in Europe. I did many workaways. I spent some time in Irland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Romania and Montenegro.
We settled down in Stockholm in October 2021 with my partenair Max from Andorra.
We have recently left Stockhom and our aim now is to travel 😊

I am dynamic, openminded, smiling & a easy-going person who hate being bored.
I love sport specially running, biking & hiking. I always enjoy being outside as much as possible. I also like everything that is related to cooking!

Max is 30 years old, from Andorra but used to live in Barcelona during the 10 past years.
He is a really social person, he likes to be surrounded by different people, talk, share different opinions, learn from them.
He is always willing to help with any kind of tasks. He likes to give a hand and help people, feeling usefull.
He is also a dynamic person. It has been two years now that he is doing yoga on a regular basis. He is also interested in meditation and try to practice it as much as possible.

We are looking for nature & calm, to be far from crowded cities, stress and oversoncumption. But most of all we want to discover and experience different ways of living and take inspirations to build our life project. We have a global idea but we need to find what we want to do, how, where ...
We want to learn as much as possible about farming, gardening, permaculture, self-sufficiency, managing livestock, how to make cheese, bread, learn about food preservtion, bee-keeping ... Basically everything ! 😊

We will be happy to help with any kind of project and learn at the same time 😊

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We have had several workaways experience where we have been working with :

- gardening : sowing, weeding, harvesting, mulching, setting up tomatoes, cucumbers, taking care and trying to avoid flies and moths, cutting grass.

- compost : how to make and maintain a good compost and make the best soil possible.

- diy : we created a compost box, we worked with wood (restoring old chairs, preparing trees to be used as pillars), we created mosquitoes nets and man other thing that we have forgotten :D

- bees : in Romania we took care of bees, we were there during harvesting time.

- animals : in almost all the workaways we have done we were in contact with animals. We are familiar with sheeps, chickens, horses and cows :)

To finish, we are both food lovers and we love to cook and spend time in the kitchen. We are also really interested in learning more about food preservation and fermentation :)

My family and I (Salomé) belong to an association which help children mainly from asia and africa who have hearth deasise from birth. They come in France to be operate and stay 2-3 months. To welcome them, the association called « mécénat cardiaque » need volonteers families, and we are one of them.
At this day, we welcomed four children in 4 years ; Herisoa from Madagascar (7), Didier from Burundi (4), Pascaline from Ivory cost (7) and Josias from Burkina Faso (4).
It was beautiful sharing experience. Children teach us a lot about brave and remind us how lucky we are to have health ! They showed me how all human beings no matter their ages are rich in teaching & sharing!

  Salomé is vegetarian but she doesn't have any problem sharing meal with people eating meat 🙂 Max eats everything!
