Hello,
We are 2 friends aged 20, from France. We're studying together at Grenoble Alpes University in a Psychology degree. We challenged ourselves to go and discover Thailand for 1 month!
We're very open-minded, especially to new experiences :)
The opportunity you're offering us could be the chance to exchange knowledges. Whatever they may be, our thirst is such that every experience is enriching for us! Whether it's a language exchange, a cultural exchange or even the sharing of a passion, we'd love to share it with you.

We're young, we've got energy to spare, and we're always up for new adventures or odd jobs. We're not looking for luxury, so please welcome us as you are. A smile and customs far removed from our Western habits will suit us, rest assured.

We're fully motivated to help you, whatever the task, from May 14 to June 16, 2025.

We took some time to gather our thoughts and find the right words to put this unforgettable experience down on paper.

Ten & Kik, at your farm, words are not what matter most.
English is just a detail where everyone’s energy is shared through laughter, learning, smiles, meals, games—and so much more.

From the moment we met him, we discovered in… read more Tan a touching and welcoming person with boundless curiosity. Tan shared with us so much knowledge and know-how, and for that we are truly grateful. He often repeated that his main desire was to connect with the volunteers. And indeed, Tan was always open to conversation, ideas, and ultimately to people—and that did us a lot of good. So we would say it’s a success ! :)

Kik is one of the most courageous women we have ever met. Even though she only speaks basic English, she’s the one with whom we experienced every emotion—literally from laughter to tears. With her hand on her heart and a smile always on her face, she is an extraordinary cook and teacher (we’ll think of her every time we eat pad thai 🩵 ). Kik is truly the second mother we never had: always there to listen, pamper us, take care of us, and host the best card games! Always ready to play bingo or “Deutsch.” With her, we learned that words are secondary when hearts understand each other.

Macon, the dancing star of GANGNAM STYLE. He taught us a lot—about dance and about chickens (he’ll have to explain that to his parents 🙃). Macon is a bundle of unstoppable energy—there’s no such thing as boredom with him. There’s no doubt that without him, our days would’ve been very different. But beyond that, he’s kind, always helpful, and also the one leaving banana worms on our terrace 😂. It’s clear he has amazing parents. Whether it’s Macon or the other children—Nolwen, Am Pao, and all the others whose names we never known 😂—it was pure joy to lead gymnastics classes and relive childhood with them! They are the breath of fresh air we all need.

What can we say about Cheyenne and Pit, who even during difficult times, opened their doors to us, welcomed us warmly, and were always incredibly kind. Cheyenne is a true organizational leader with a big heart. Merci beaucoup ❤️

P.S.: Sending lots of hearts to the Big Boss too! 🫶🏻

In summary, the Farmer Family is a constantly evolving farm, full of promise. Once you step into it, you become part of an history and a family you’ll never forget.

To the entire big family that is the Farmer Family: never stop believing in the power of this place. You have such rich ideas, and you are all amazing. Success is bound to come your way. We wish you all the happiness and success in the world—but above all, please take care of yourselves, because health will always be the most important thing!

We’ll never be able to thank you enough for your warm and inspiring welcome. One thing is certain: we are coming out of this unforgettable journey changed, thanks to the time we shared with all of you.

We hope to see you again one day and witness your accomplishments in this little paradise 💛💛💛

You both came from France, but from the moment you arrived, it felt as if you were always part of our FarmerFamily. During your 21 days with us, you gave us so much more than just help on the farm — you gave us love, warmth, and unforgettable memories.

One of the most touching… read more moments was your decision to donate blood to help my wife during her health challenges. It was a deeply meaningful act of kindness and courage that went far beyond any expectation. I am determined to recover and look forward to welcoming you both again with a big smile and maybe a new game to share — because as you know, I love turning every gathering into a playful memory!😉

Léa, your energy and joy brought light to our everyday routines. And Elsa, you inspired our children in ways we never imagined. With your gymnastics skills, 🤸🏻‍♀️🌾you taught them not only how to jump and balance but also how to be brave in the water — creating a safe and fun space where kids like Macron, Nolvan, TuTa, Aungpao, and Taitan found the courage to play more freely.

Your presence also brought flavors from home. The night you made pasta 🍝 from scratch, kneading the dough with the love passed down from your Italian father, and serving it at the farewell dinner for our German friends, Berit and Elias — it was more than a meal; it was a celebration of cultures and connection.

And during the times when everything became a bit too busy, our amazing host family members — Cheyen and Pam — were right there beside us. Their calm presence and helping hands made everything flow with love and laughter. Whether it was keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes or simply sharing a smile when we needed it most, they reminded us what family really means.
Together with P’Koiy and P’Aiad, everyone came together with such kindness and generosity to build moments of joy and togetherness — not just for us, but for every friend who passed through.

We often dreamt of being hosts who create a space like this — where friends from around the world come together, share stories, laugh over a game of bingo, and feel like family. With you here, that dream came true.

Even though 21 days went by so fast, the memories we made will stay with us forever. We know you wished to stay longer, and we too feel that little ache of goodbye. But your journey continues, and we are excited for the adventures that await you.

You’ve left behind something beautiful — courage, friendship, and a deeper connection between people and place. Thank you for being exactly who you are.
