Description
My name is Simone, I am 25 years old, I come from Italy and I studied political science. In the last few years I have already had experiences abroad, in England, with several host families, helping them with the jobs requested and I have always had a good time. In Ireland I have already had 4 wonderful experiences. I am available to help families with any type of work: painting, gardening, housework (cleaning; laundry), animal care, volunteering, ecological projects and preparing meals for the family, life on the farm and in agritourism, general maintenance. My goal is to spend time with the family, helping them with the jobs requested and also learning French.

I was almost 2 weeks on this farm. I worked from 9:30-13:30 and then from 15:30 to 16:30 but sometimes even 17. My room had 4 beds. The work in the morning was to feed the animals (horses, goats, pigs, donkeys, dogs) with hay and also to give them water. Then pick up all the animal poop on the ground in the different areas. I stayed at Davina's house for 2 weeks. The house is tidy, clean and large. Davina was a nice and helpful person with me. During this experience I worked alone and in a group like painting and gardening. I suggest everyone to try an experience in this host-family. Greetings to Davina.

When Simone arrived his English wasn't the best but over the three weeks it greatly improved. He did all tasks that were asked of him which included painting, stacking timber, gardening duties as well as maintaining family home. Wishing you all the best for your future, Marcelle,Grace and Jess
