Kia Ora people!

I'm Izzy from New Zealand (but I grew up in Sweden), and decided to become a Workawayer this year. My main mission is to be as adventurous and helpful as I can, and to share a lot of joy with all of you lovely people out there.

A little bit about me! Let's get to know eachother :-)

I love throwing myself into new experiences, love to be curious, and love the laughter that follows after a stranger just became a friend.

Nature is my happy place. I've hiked mountains and ran on a lot of beaches back home in New Zealand 🇳🇿 🥝

I have worked to support children affected by cancer - I am very lucky to have learnt so much from these little warriors!

I am qualified as a barista and bartender, but am eager to pursue and finesse these skills further.

I've been a housesitter for many families in New Zealand. While looking after their homes, I've also helped with pet and gardening duties. I am very comfortable helping in this area :-)

I would like to study for a degree in Physics, but have zero clue whether that's the right path for me. Workaway is my time for exploring and connecting, which I'm hoping will help me decide on a career. But, I would be really happy to share my passion of teaching music, maths, physics and English with anyone - I'm interested in becoming a tutor 😊

I've volunteered for two farms - one was a petting zoo in New Zealand when I was eleven years old, and another was a ranch in Denmark earlier this year. I have always loved animals, and am really happy working with them.

I’ve volunteered at a farm, worked in a supermarket, and been a housesitter for four different families in New Zealand.

I have a barista qualification, but my latte heart looks like a Salvador Dalí dream!
