Description

I am Stein, I grew up in the Netherlands in a big family with 4 sisters, a brother and lots of pets. Right now I live in Groningen with my girlfriend Irma and our cat Vincent.

Last year I finished my bachelor's degree in law. However, by that time I knew I wanted something else. A life outdoors, surrounded by nature. I am now giving myself some time to figure out what exactly that would look like.

In March I started a two year course in ecological gardening/landscaping. I got a job at 'Tuingoed Foltz', a specialist plant nursery. My job is to keep their beautiful gardens pretty and tidy. I also work independently as gardener and landscaper.

I'm also thankful to have had the opportunity to design and plant a garden for a friend of mine.

Although I love gardens, I‘m more interested in wild plants and animals and their relationships. That's why I want to visit some of Spains natural reserves.

Furthermore, I want to build my own house using natural building techniques, with a rocket stove mass heater in the centre. Therefore, i'm hoping to learn more about bioconstruction too.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- Experienced cook, also for big groups.
- Can drive a car, a tractor and operate an excavator.
- Wood splitting.
- Chainsaw use.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Not so good at tying knots, even my shoelaces. Open to learning new tricks though.
