Hey everyone,we're Isabel and Sven. We love to travel slow and get to know the people and culture in the country that we visit. For a few years my husband Sven and I have been housesitting (with TrustedHouseSitters) and we loved the experience. So now that we started our sabbatical in September 2024 we have a lot more time on our hands and would love to stay somewhere longer and help out any way we can, trying new things we never did before and connecting with people we did not know before :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Isabel has 12 years experience of working as a physical therapist in Germany in a large hospital. She have a high sense of responsibility, for example supporting patients who just woke up from a coma and teaching them to walk again over several months.
She also is experienced with children, since her sister has four kids and she often took care of them for a longer time.
Isabel is a very handy person, she loves to renovate and paint walls and upcycle old furniture. She also likes to draw/paint. She and Sven enjoy cooking and are very good at it, Isabel also loves to bake.
Isabel is in love with nature and animals especially, she always had a dog at home and she started at early age raising birds who fell out of the nest. The love for animals was the main reason for the trusted housesitter experience.

Sven has a financial background and recently started to delve into the environmental, social and governance (ESG) investment space.
Sven has a strong sense of responsibility. He is physically robust and enjoys working towards a goal or on a project to create something new and meaningful.
Sven is experienced with dogs and wants to spend much more time with different kinds of animals.

Via TrustedHouseSitters, we took care of five dogs in England and occasionally fed the two emus, a sheep and a llama (rescued animals), which was a great experience already. We are also experienced with more complicated dogs (anxious / very old). To ease your mind, we can send you the reviews of our TrustedHouseSitters experiences, since we have no reviews on workaway yet.
