Hi!
I am Tinka, a 29 year-old woman from the Netherlands.
I love connecting and learning from others. And enjoy getting my hands dirty. Which makes that WorkAway is the perfect place for me :D
I have already helped at several workaways: building a house in Belguim, farming in Czech, teaching in Ghana, wine making in Georgia, being a camping host in Vietnam, and building a house again in Mexico.
I am curious and never get tired of discovering new things. I am happiest when I am surrounded by people and trees. I love to use my creativity and have a secret addiction to chai. By profession I am a data specialist, working on climate adaptation.
Contributing to projects I believe in, just gives me so much joys. Learning about the vision and then seeing together how I can contribute the most. While I enjoy being with people, I also like to take initiative and enjoy time by myself as well. I enjoy getting sweaty (to some extent) when working to a common goal and like putting my creativity in things. Looking forward to make this world a little bit better!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
As job I am working as a data scientist at the united nations, so I know how to handle computers.
I got experience in volunteering with project management, building houses, working with kids, teaching, and working at a farm. These projects took place in Ghana, Mexico, Uganda, Finland, Belgium, Georgia and the Netherlands.
But more importantly I am very curious by character, enjoy hard work, and love to learn new skills.
