Description

Hi, my name is Antonia and I am a solo traveler. For the past three years I have worked as a librarian in a university library and now I want to see a little bit of the world.

I am an open-minded, cheerful person and I love spending time outdoors hiking. I like trying new things, whether that's food or a sport or something else entirely.
I also like to read which I, depending on the weather and the place, sometimes do inside with a nice cup of tea or outside on a picnic blanket (preferably also with some tea).

From November 2024 on I am planning to travel through Canada for a year. I hope to see and experience many new things and to meet new people :).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have 3 years of professional work experience with customer service and with office tasks, such as filing documents and cataloguing media. I finished my apprenticeship with the best result in our year.

Additionally I like to be outside, therefore I don't have a problem with more hands-on tasks. I know how to paint a wall, change car tires and other basic manual skills.

I speak both German and English, as well as a little bit French. I have participated in student language tandems before and would be happy to offer my skills to teach.

Overall I love learning new things and with a little guidance I am a fast learner.

Autres infos...

I love to go to museums, especially if there about archeology, geology or dinosaurs :) and I like to visit old castles and learn about the history of the place.

I often play board games that you can play alone, but if given the chance I like to play with other people too. Together with others I prefer to play classical games such as "Nevermind" ("Mensch ärgere dich nicht" in german - I was trying to find the correct translation), though I am always open to new ones.
