Hey there!

Welcome to our profile :) Our names are Cole and Tristan!

We are taking a couple years off between school and work to find beauty in as many places as we can. We love to travel and Workaway presents the perfect opportunity for us to seek adventure, meet new people and immerse ourselves in other cultures. We met through work at an adventure ziplining park and have grown close together through our mutual love of nature, knowledge and finding true connection. We have spent the last few years exploring all that we can in our home country Canada and recently returned from backpacking Europe. Asia is where our next adventure awaits and we couldn't be more excited to explore new and unfamiliar lands. We both come from big families and feel right at home surrounded by the chaos of siblings, foster kids and a hodgepodge of all sorts of animals. We have grown up working on farms and have experience looking after all sorts of animals, both pets and livestock.

We are constantly looking to learn new skills, explore untouched places and have thought-provoking conversations with people from all backgrounds. For both of us, nature is our true passion and we often find ourselves pursuing places farther and farther away from human reach. We find happiness in both the small and big. While we find pleasure in true music, quality conversations and quiet places, we also love trying new and thrilling things.

We are eager for all that is to come and can’t wait to get started!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Shared Skills:
We have worked for multiple years as aerial and rescue guides at a zipline adventure park so have lots of experience in high stress situations and at great heights. We are first aid instructors and are avid rock climbers. We are very experienced at navigating the wilderness and at camping. We both have experience with childcare and are very handy in the kitchen. We very comfortable with gardening and handling eco projects. Additionally, we have taken care rental houses and Airbnb's so are apt at all sorts of household chores.

Tristan Specific:
I have grown up surrounded by horses and have trained young and/or abused horses. Have experience with medical treatment of farm animals. I work as a physiotherapy assistant so I have lots of knowledge in natural healing and kinesiology. I am passionate about writing and editing.

Cole Specific:
I have a university degree in psychology and work with at-risk youth. I like to dabble with DIY carpentry and am proficient in landscaping. I am a rope rescue and aerial guide instructor. I enjoy playing guitar, piano and singing, especially around a campfire.
