Hi! I'm Twan, 21 years old, and currently traveling the Silk Road overland from Asia to Europe. I recently finished my degree in sustainability and politics and love hiking, writing, and deep conversations. I recently completed my studies in sustainability and politics, focusing on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. As part of my degree, I conducted a research internship at a company that supports NGOs like the Red Cross and UNICEF in their development work.
I have gained diverse work experience, including tutoring, working as a shop assistant, and doing bike deliveries. I am highly communicative, adaptable, and persistent when faced with challenges.
Languages are another passion of mine. My native language is Dutch, and I am fluent in English. Additionally, I speak some French and German, and have started learning a little bit of Russian, and studied basic Mandarin while living in Taiwan in 2023.
Above all, I enjoy expanding my knowledge and making meaningful contributions wherever I can.
