Hello! We are friends from the UK, currently on a career break and taking time to explore new places, meet new people, and join interesting projects.
A bit about us:
Verity loves spending time in nature, painting and swimming. She previously worked for a health charity and now works designing museums.
Carys enjoys exploring new places, playing music, and hiking. She studied Zoology at university and has an interest in conservation and ecology.
We have really enjoyed Workaway experiences in the past, and are excited about the chance to join new projects.

We both like to learn languages, and are both native English speakers and happy to teach anyone wanting to learn / improve their English. Verity taught English conversation classes in the past and really enjoyed it!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
- Teaching English
We are both native English speakers and are happy to help people who would like to learn English. Previous experience of running English conversation classes.
- Workshop facilitation
Experience running workshops and focus groups with school groups (ages 8-16) and community groups.
- Care for children and adults
Lots of experience of looking after children of all ages, including planning fun activities like cooking or art. We also both have experience caring for both children and adults with additional needs.
- Teaching
Experience teaching circus skills to children at a summer camp, as well as working at a children's art club.
- Video editing
Experience filming and editing videos for campaigns and social media / websites.
- Hospitality
Experience with working in hotels and receptions, greeting guests and managing day to day processes.
- Music
Carys loves music and has performed in the past. She plays the flute and piano, and is always happy to teach anyone who wants to learn!
- Design
Verity has worked on a range of design projects, including natural history museums, and enjoys sharing design skills with others.
- Arts and crafts
We both enjoy arts and crafts, including painting, drawing, and crochet and enjoy sharing these skills with others.
