Hello! My name is William, and I’m a 41-year-old Italian from Milan. I lived in Milan for around 30 years before spending a year in Bergen, Norway, as an Erasmus student. Afterwards, I moved to London to pursue a PhD in Mathematics, and I’ve now been living here for nine years.

I enjoy life in London because it feels like many cities in one: each district has its own character, offering something for everyone—be it theatres, cinemas, restaurants, beautiful parks, or the opportunity to meet people from all over the world.

That said, I am curious to see whether I would truly miss some of the things I love about living in a big city, such as visiting museums, going to the opera, or even cycling through the busy streets! I’m generally adaptable and have a deep interest in other cultures and languages, which helps me feel at home wherever I go.

Lastly, I’m passionate about food—especially the traditional cuisine of the countries I visit.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I like teaching and I’ve done it for many years in Milan, my hometown. But I also love children and I would like to dedicate myself to them in the next years.
I’m not the most practical person, but I’m happy to do also some physical work, especially gardening (when I was young, I wanted to be a botanist!), or taking care of animals.
