During the fall of 2022 i am going to go on a long bicycle trip all the way from Copenhagen Denmark to the western shores of France, and then back to Amsterdam to visit friends. For a good while i have wanted to take on the challenge of using nothing but my own legs, and travel as sustainably as possible. For the past few years i have worked in different fields, everything from working as a welder, to making pottery, and most recently as a bike messenger. i would describe myself as being most content when being active either using my hands in creating or being challenged with learning new things. As i have been a part of a collectively run concert venue, called Loppen, as a volunteer. I can get behind being a part of a group with a common goal, and the idea of working together to learn from each other not from profit. Workaway seems to be a match made in heaven, for me to be able to use what i have learned, and be able to learn new skills and help and make peoples acquaintances along the way.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As i have worked in a few different fields i have acquired different experiences through the years, namely being open towards new things and persevering although it is something i have never tried before. I would describe myself as curious and a quick learner. Namely i've worked as a blacksmith/welder for a couple of years, learning what there is about building, planning and working from drawings. I also have a slight understanding of woodworking as, i have helped numerous friends and family with renovations of wooden summerhouses and so on. IE there are no power tools i'm shy at using. Besides that i have been in the service industry working either as a bartender or helped behind the scenes at a concert venue, and worked as a stagehand. Which has taught me alot about being sociable, and outwards.

I consider myself a very active person, and have various different hobbies. Everything from cycling to skateboarding and sailing. With that said i also really appreciate the crafts, such as drawing, designing and making. For example, i have made everything from jewelry to pottery and my own bicycles from the ground up. I also quite enjoy being able to retract and take solace in one of my favourites which is reading.
