PERSONALLY
WHO I AM-
-Hi! My name is Tony, I am from the United States of America and I’m 32 years old. I am seeking an “experience(s)” off the beaten path with the hope of finding connections with like-minded people who are seeking holistic ways of relating, sharing, and caring for the earth, and others.
-I am a fun-loving person who enjoys a good sense of humor, a beer after a hard day's work, and spending quality time fully present with others.
-I have spent on/off over a decade living or visiting Europe. My hope this time around is to visit old friends and specifically find new friendships and experiences through Workaway.
-Currently I am trying to make a career/attitudinal shift in my life and want to incorporate my love of travel and admiring others' ingenuity into perspective change.

EMOTIONALLY
-I am turning a new leaf in my life, feeling more confident to be who I really feel I am inside and out. With that being said I am hoping to find others who feel empowered to show and share who they are with the world.
-I am a person who says how I feel in the moment and I prefer whenever possible that people openly communicate their needs and wants the same.
-My hope is to come to your project and find spiritual resonance with the place, people, plants, and animals that inhabit your space. I am a person who is very outgoing but I also enjoy being in and working on moments/projects/places that allow me to be creative and feel grounded.
-Whenever possible I prefer to be managed by being shown what needs to be done and ways it could be done and then left and trusted to complete the task in my own way.
-I am the type of person that when I commit myself to something I take it seriously and do my best to not take myself too seriously.

FINANCIALLY
-I am able to travel/volunteer because I work part-time as a reading tutor online. The hours correspond with U.S. work hours(16:00-1:00 European Time) and days(Monday-Thursday)and would require Wifi. In order to help you with your project I would ask that you have a reliable internet connection that you are willing to share, and perhaps a private space I could teach without bothering anyone in your living space.
-I find delight and curiosity in the gift-economy and enjoy finding new ways to share “things” I wasn’t even aware were a form of currency

PROFESSIONALLY
-I am seeking the opportunity to gain wisdom/perspective/advice on how you as a workaway host physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially you have dreamed up and managed your creative projects.
-I am a person that is excited to learn new practical skills that perhaps relate to daily chores or projects that you are working on.
-I am a person who has always found myself wanting to learn to build or fix something rather than buy it brand new or have a professional fix it.
-Over the past months I have taken courses in Permaculture, Men’s Facilitation and Esoteric Wisdom, and Yoga. My hope is to search for inspiration in your projects and to gain a greater perspective of my own .

ACADEMICALLY
-I hope to learn from you, your beliefs, your ways of communicating, living, language/culture/food, and being in the world.
-I am an avid reader and love writing everyday.
-I truly relish conversations about film, art, music, history and books.

MY PURPOSE/EXPECTATIONS FOR WHAT I HOPE TO GET OUT OF THIS EXPERIENCE?

-General handyman experience
-I have a knack for problem solving and finding creative solutions for projects
-I am passionate about working with people
-I love researching ways to solve problems
-Not afraid to get dirty
-Understand how to read and observe nature and its flow
-I feel comfortable managing my own work and can be trusted to complete a project when left alone
-I have lots of experience in landscaping, small remodeling projects, and the demolition of houses
-I have studied Teaching at the graduate level and I love working with and teaching people of all ages(I used to be an English Teacher in Spain)
-I have studied and have a basic understanding of Permaculture Design, Systems Thinking, Design Thinking
-I am very friendly and can start up a conversation with just about anyone
- I am detail oriented and I am proficient at planning and completing projects through lists and steps
-I can hold space for others and meet people where they are at physically and emotionally
-I have lots of experience living with large groups of people
-I am not afraid to share my opinion, and have the capacity to be open-minded to other people's ideas
-I believe I can bring warmth and laughter to a room
-I am a decent cook
-I am comfortable around animals(feeding them, cleaning them, milking them, understanding their needs, and enjoy cleaning up their poop)
