Hi all! I'm a hardworking, outdoor-loving traveler. I've had a fairly international upbringing (I'm from the US, but my father is Turkish and I lived in South America for a time) and am excited to continue living internationally. I've had some cool jobs in the last few years- teaching kids online and working in national parks in the US as an environmental researcher all while doing WorkAway in between! My hobbies include most outdoor sports/activities (especially hiking, camping, and biking), anything related to food, music (I sing and play a little piano), and art (knitting and crochet). I'm passionate about the outdoors and have some experience in agriculture which I hope to continue building upon. I have a degree in cell biology and have worked as a field ecologist, so I am definitely happiest among plants and bugs. I love connecting with new people, exchanging stories, languages, and recipes, and hope I get the chance to do that with you and your community!
