Hello!
My name is Dagmar, I'm an 18-year old from the Netherlands and new to Workaway! I'm taking a gap year and would like to explore a little beyond my usual place of living, preferably in another country to really try and experience something new. I like to make art, knit or crochet, read, and be creative in general.
I also love exploring new places, both cities and nature alike, on foot or by bike! Although nature in my living place isn't very special, it is the perfect place for biking, and that's what I grew up doing and still love to do. As I've grown up going to the mountains on basically every holiday, I also love to do long walks, and am not afraid of a challenge. Besides that, I also run for fun.
Although I love individual hobbies, I do really like talking to and getting to know new people. Especially now in my gap year, I'm really looking forward to finding new people to connect with.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've got some experience caring for horses from when I was little, and have had both rabbits and a cat as pets. I just finished high school and work at a bakery now, managing the shop, and next year I would like to start studying Biology.
I speak Dutch, English and a tiny bit French, although the last is a bit faded after not practicing much since high school. Although I'm not an expert at it, I do love to cook and try out new recipes. DIY projects are something I love to do as well, such as painting or making clothes, and during spring I help out with garden work, such as trimming willows.
I love trying out and learning new skills, and I'm a quick learner!
