Hello, everyone!

I'm Dominika, and I come from the Czech Republic, a beautiful gem nestled in the heart of Europe!

After completing my Bachelor's degree, I felt an irresistible urge to explore the world and soak up as many experiences as possible. I’m passionate about meeting new friends, sharing stories, diving into different cultures, and learning about everything under the sun! I believe that our planet is a colourfull place filled with stunning landscapes and extraordinary people.

Traveling has been my gateway to personal growth, opening up opportunities to acquire new skills and knowledge while nurturing a sense of gratitude for all the experiences and connections that help me flourish.

I am a very open-minded person who holds respect as a fundamental value in all interactions. I absolutely love indulging in delicious food - and I enjoy cooking it too (though I must admit, I still have a lot to learn, haha). Growing up surrounded by animals has fostered my adoration for them, and I cherish every moment I get to spend with them.

In my free time, you’ll often find me hiking and exploring the great outdoors, seeking adventure and new breathtaking views. Nevertheless, as balance is important to me and my way of life, I also enjoy days spent with a book in my hands, calm music in the background and a cup of tea.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I completed my bachelor's degree in Business. Although, I discovered that the corporate path isn't quite the right fit for me, my studies equipped me with valuable skills in task completion and focus, which I apply to other aspects of life.

I have a passion for DIY projects. Currently, I'm diving deeper into building and crafting, honing my skills with every new project.

One of my most rewarding experiences was spending time as a volunteer on a farm in Mexico, where I deepened my abilities in animal care, interacting with horses, dogs, poultry, pigs, and even a monkey. During my time there, I worked with another volunteer to build two beautiful elevated gardens, which was an incredibly fulfilling project. That brings me to another skill and that's gardening. I love getting my hands dirty and nourishing plants so they can thrive.

Additionally, I have experience in the hospitality industry, having worked as a receptionist, waitress, and bartender. I found bartending very enjoyeble - for me, this line of work feels like an art form, combining creativity with customer service.

I also have a background in supporting seniors, having completed an internship at a senior living home. This experience taught me the importance of patience and compassion, skills that I value greatly.

I thrive on challenges and have a strong passion for learning and deepening my skills. I approach every task with determination and commitment. I believe in the value of asking for help or guidance when needed, as collaboration often leads to the best results. I'm excited to contribute and grow through new experiences!

I have a deep passion for reading and listening to music, which helps calm my mind. I love dancing and am currently exploring new hobbies like fermenting veggies, herbalism, and sewing—though that last one is a work in progress and I might get to a point where I accept we can't learn everything in our lives!

Hiking is one of my favorite activities. I find spending time in nature incredibly therapeutic. If the Czech Republic had a seaside, I would happily spend hours there. Anything related to nature brings me joy, whether it's being outdoors or having wholesome moments with animals.

In the summer, I enjoy swimming in rivers and lakes, and I have a strong enthusiasm for driving, which allows me to explore new places and savor the journey.
