Kia Ora (hello!)
We are Ben (25 Male) & Ella Mae (26 Female)
We have been together 2 years and are excited to be able to travel around Europe from May-August 2025.

I (Ella Mae) am originally from Aotearoa New Zealand, but was lucky enough to live in Mexico from the age of 9-21. I currently live in NZ and have been working for the past 3.5 years in the film/TV industry- in the costume department.
In my free time (of which I dont have much.. since I typically work 60-70 hour weeks) I love to hike, swim, cook, read, sew, do yoga, and go vintage/antique shopping.
I love to stay busy and am definitely an "active relaxer". Always looking for projects around the house/garden & ways to improve our living space.
I am excited to meet new people, get to know their culture/lifestyles & help out wherever I can.

I (Ben) was very fortunate to grow up in Aotearoa (New Zealand), and have not yet had the chance to travel.

I love to surf, hike, climb, garden, cook, build, and teach.
I studied Neuroscience and subsequently teaching for a decent chunk of time (6 years).
I now work as a Teacher and personal Tutor.
Education is my passion and gives me a reason to wake up and enjoy the day.
As much as Education fulfils me, the natural world does so too. I love to surf and hike. Always making sure to make the most of my day by being immersed in nature.
I recently spent a couple months working on a nature sanctuary planting trees and removing invasive species. Working on the land brings me a lot of fulfilment, and leaves me with a sense of satisfaction at the end of my day.
One of the things that brings me the most joy is cooking a delicious meal for friends & loved ones to enjoy.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Ben:
* Trained teacher: I have an array of skills regarding education. My specific areas of expertise are in teaching Maths and Science - as well as primary school level reading and writing.
* Childcare: I come from a large family and I have always been around babies and children. I love my siblings and nephews - which has helped me appreciate the energy and happiness children bring to our lives.
*Cooking: although I am not professionally trained my partner can confirm I am an excellent chef.
*Gardening: I have worked with DOC in NZ's native bush; Removing weeds, planting native plants and pest-trapping.
*Building: experience in construction

Ella Mae:
* Sewing: Good at hand sewing & machine sewing. Will happily repair any clothing or help with any sewing projects.
* House DIY: Spent 6 weeks house sitting in Greece, and kept myself busy by removing paint & re-painting doors & windows.
* Bilingual: I am fluent in Spanish (from Mexico!) & English is my first language.
* Cooking: I love to cook and enjoy making meals for my friends/family
*Silversmith: I am a trained silversmith so I am handy with tools & figuring out how things are made.
* Hard worker: I work in costume department in the film & tv industry so I am not shy of hard work, & am accustomed to 70 hour work weeks.
*Social media: I previously ran my own reselling business on Instagram so I can help with any social media help you may need!
