Helloooo :) I'm Hari, female, 28, half English/German :) I have been travelling for a little while, exploring new countries, cultures and ways of life. I have recently spent the last 6 months in japan working as a babysitter and ski instructor, and then i spent one month bikepacking around a southern island called Kyushu :)

I use Workaway to connect with others, and to learn about different people and how they live their lives, and how that can influence me and my future. I love to learn new skills, and moving my body outside and do things using my hands.

I am a bubbly, happy woman who is very curious about learning new things and embracing different ways of life. I am very eco-conscious and I am mostly vegan, with an exception of my last 6 months in Japan where I ate what was available; I am flexible, as long as most things are organic. I love cooking and learning about new food, growing and harvesting.

I love nature and the outdoors and I absolutely love animals. I am learning how to free dive. I have travelled for the last 2 years, and in that time spent 3 months trekking in the Himalayas in Nepal which was very enlightening. I did a lot of inner self-work, and now I'm ready to connect more with people!

I have been working with children aged 2-12 over the last few months in the mountains of Japan (Nagano), and I would love to continue this, either looking after them, teaching them English or German, or taking them on nature walks or teaching them how to ski.

I have a growing interest in construction, I have learnt how to use power tools a few years ago to build an amphitheatre for a festival in Poland. I am interested in learning more about this and utilising my strong body!

I also like to do art in my spare time, my mom raised me to be very crafty and creative. I mainly have smaller art project pieces like collage/painting, but I also like to make earrings and do lino printing.

I'm looking for places which fit my interest and lifestyle. I really enjoy meeting new people and connecting over good food, some manual labour and chatting! I am a deep thinker, emotional and sensitive being. I would love to be around similar people, and connect. I find it very interesting to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds - we are all humans and we all have a story to share!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can cook, clean, create art. I am full of energy a lot of the time so good for manual labour - building things, gardening, fruit picking etc.

I am very good with children. I worked at my mom's Waldorf school in the Kindergarten for a few months after my studies. I have been working as a nanny in Japan for the winter season.

I am also very good with animals. Happy to help out wherever needed.

I have a degree in BA Criminology and a Masters in addictions and Mental Health Research. I speak English and German and a tiny bit of French :)

Autres infos...

My happy place is in the mountains or lakes/the sea. I could spend hours getting lost in the forest or walking up to a lovely viewpoint looking over a river/lake. I am excited to explore new places!💚
