Hi! I’m Giulia! I’m 26 and I’m from a little village in the North East of Italy (Udine).
I’m dynamic, outgoing, responsible, reliable, fun, hard-working and open-minded!

What brought me here?
…when I was 15 years old my family and I travelled Europe extensively. At a very young age I got my first taste of how beautiful and exciting the world is!
During one of my trips I promised myself that one day I would return and live in one of these countries for a period of time, to soak in the culture, the life and the people.
The country that stood out the most for me was Portugal.
At this point in my life I feel it is the right time to take that step and jump!
As I was researching places to work, I stumbled across “Workaway” … and this is where I am today!

Working in the restaurant business for 8 years has helped me grow professionally, but most I’m grateful for the people I’ve met along my journey.

🌞
I’m an outdoorsy type and couldn’t contemplate the idea of not living an active life.
⛰️Thanks to my hometown I’ve always been immersed in nature and it has given me the chance to explore the beauty that my region offers.
🧘🏻‍♀️Hiking is one of my biggest passion, followed by doing sports like tennis and yoga.
🌞During the last year I’ve been nurturing the idea of doing the “Camino de Santiago” and in march I’ll be starting my journey. What will happen after, it is just a story I will write down living….

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

🌱I consider myself a dynamic, cheerful person, inclined towards teamwork. I'm curious and I always like to learn something. I adapt easily to situations and I like to share my time with people who have the same energy as me. I volunteered with children in summer camps, I practiced scouting for years and I like to immerse myself in nature. I have a particular interest in spirituality and in recent years I have approached yoga and meditation.🧘🏻‍♀️

🍷🍸🍝As far as work is concerned, I have been involved in catering for eight years. I was a bartender, waitress and manager of the place where I worked. I developed a passion for wine and took the course to become a sommelier.
I would like to practice or deepen my knowledge in this area.

I enjoy taking time for myself to do really basic things that make myself relaxed and out of stress. Sometimes even just taking an hour a day to walk alone make me an happier person :)
