Description
I am a 36 year old man who is qualified as a joiner but have had experience in workaway before and loved every part of it - I also have a very relaxed and happy outlook on life.
I work hard on whatever task has been set to accomplish - I'm not afraid of getting stuck in and can work very effectively as part of a team or on my own using my own initiative.
I am flexible with the tasks I am prepared to do and happy to turn my hand to most things.
I've lived in france and austria previously but been back in the UK for 3 years and I'm ready for my next adventure.
I speak English, basic german and the tiniest bit of French - at the moment but would love to extend my linguistic skills.
Having worked in France for two years, I have knowledge of the lovely French way of living - work hard first- relax well later. The Austrians are far more efficient haha!
I come from a large family - two brothers 1 sister plus an active extended family so am happy to work with or around children.
I can cook fairly well and enjoy cooking for groups of people - creating new recipes and sharing the washing up.

Jack stayed, together with Dory and Mickey, for almost 2 weeks. Besides a very nice person he is super practical and works autonomously, when I couldn’t formulate a new task he’d find himself something. They’ve helped me with an enormous firewood action, feels so good to know we’ll be warm for a very long time!! Jack built a nice woodshelter to… read more

I couldn't of asked for better hosts, I really enjoyed all the chats we had about their lives and getting to know them! Jack is very good with all tools and a real problem solver.
He has built two tables and four benches, cut the grass and fixed and improved many things. Wishing Jack a pleasant further journey and hope he will come again to Friends of Luštica.

Jack came with carpentry skills and we used them well! He is fun and fitted in with the family from the start. He enjoys working alone as well as in a group and mixed with all the other folk that were in and out very easily.
