Description
I am starting Te Araroa on 10th October from Cape Reinga with a view of completing the entire trek in 3/4 months!
But I also enjoy my down time! As I am a very creative person, this is normally spent doing art or DIY projects or playing guitar, although I also really enjoy just chatting with people!
I am generally a very easy-going person that loves trying new things and meeting new people, and being introduced to things like new music tastes, lifestyles and viewpoints! But when it comes down to it I work hard and like to put my all into everything I am doing whatever the work may be.
I love travel having completed a 5 month solo trip of Australia and SE Asia after finishing my law degree at university followed by a 2 month stint as a lacrosse coach and camp councillor at a children’s camp in America last summer.

I would certainly be open to trying to learn a new language at least to a basic level whilst away, or to improve on my already basic understanding of French. I would also be perfectly happy helping people improve their English if they wanted.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I love playing sport (especially lacrosse) and have for most of my life so I’m very fit and active, as well as being a competent swimmer. I am also a very creative person so would embrace any kind of work where I get to think creatively, having done countless paintings and DIY projects (like building a bench from old pallets) in the past. I also have begun to teach myself the guitar, and although I’m still a beginner I am learning fairly quick and really enjoy it.
I often help around the house with odd jobs whether its gardening or maintenance, and I do enjoy cooking and often try learning new recipes.
I have also just graduated Law (LLB) at University and currently have a job in data research, so I have good experience and knowledge in these fields. I also have good practical skills including a decent knowledge of computers. I have also had experience organising and moderating social events at University as well as doing some mentoring and tutoring in school so I am well accustomed to this.
I’m also a quick learner and am happy to get stuck into whatever work is asked of me and enjoy fully embracing the environment I’m in. I find it easy to get along with most people, and I love animals and would enjoy working with/living around them too. I love throwing myself into and learning about new ways of life and other people’s interests, and am always open to new experiences.

I love a large variety of music and love sharing or hearing other people's music tastes - my enjoyment of music has also led me to try and teach myself how to play the guitar, although I am still very much a beginner.
I really enjoy watching different films and TV shows, with a favourite show certainly being Breaking Bad if I had to choose.
I also enjoy playing lots of different games whether they are card games, board games, or sports.
