Hi!
I am Kelsie. I am a social work student, intern child therapist, preschool employee, traveler, daughter, and friend. After a year and a half of travel, I landed in Boulder, Colorado. I settled down here in February of 2020, unaware of what was to come. During this strange time, I developed my career and clinical skills learning how to help children and adolescents, support the family unit, and serve high-needs populations. My path is one of healing--inside and out. Last year, I completed a 200-hr yoga certification course. I traveled with curiosity, asking questions about meaning, health, vitality and resilience.

I am interested in learning Spanish (I am from South Florida so I can fumble through conversations). I love working with kids and teens. I just love people. Connecting with others is part of my soul's purpose; I am so grateful for this platform and the amazing people it has brought into my life.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a huge family person--my brothers, parents and grandparents are my best friends. I bring this loving energy with me everywhere I go. My dad is in the restaurant business and I have cooked in ashram kitchens before; I am no chef, but I do know how to help in the kitchen. I have volunteered all over the country through workaway and WOOFF. So, I know how to help on a farm, a temple, or an Airbnb property. I have been a housekeeper, babysitter, tutor, farm hand and program manager. I am an enthusiastic helper, show me how to do something and I will do it!

I especially love working with kids as I currently work in a preschool. I also just started learning how to throw pottery, so I am able to teach some ceramics skills.

Overall, I think my best skill is that I am a happy, positive person!

Autres infos...

I love to read and write. I am still figuring out what exactly I'd like to do with my life, what my "personal legend" will be 😝. These experiences really help--in so many ways. I just love that this platform is here! What a life!
