Hi ! I'm Kim (they/them) :)

I'm a 24 year old non-binary queer human about to take a 3-month journey across Canada in May 25.

I would say I'm a kind, compassionate, fun and adventurous person who's always ready to learn something new. I'm always trying to be better and overall a good human.
I'm very creative and have a lot of hobbies (have tried LOTS of things). I love music and enjoy singing, cooking, hiking, taking pictures, drawing and much more.

I feel most at peace when I'm surrounded by nature. I'm also vegan which means a lot to me and is obviously very much related to my love of nature and beings of all species. This is a personal choice and I obviously don't expect to be around strictly vegan people.

I'm very passionate about anything related to Arts, food, nature, queer culture, politics and activism for everyone's right to be, and to be respected in this complex world.
This is very important for me as I'm myself part of minorities and also because I rely on respect and comprehension of one and other to be able to connect with people (as different as we can be).

I'm craving big connections and meeting new people in general and once I'm confortable I love sharing a moment with people, or even better, having really deep conversations !

I've been wanting to go to Canada for a decade now, I've already been to Quebec once when I was a kid and that is still one of my best memories.Since then, I've been kind of obsessed with the country and what it has to offer haha.

I've never done a workaway before but I've been wanting to for such a long time, probably since I'm 16 or something so it's about time !

I will be travelling by myself for the first time (for a long period of time) and that's something very meaningful for me, that's a way for me of connecting to myself that is very new for me, but I'm excited for this journey :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I do have some computer skills (coding & webdesign) if that's something interesting for you :)

I love cooking and I've been told I'm a good cook (vegan meals of course). To be honest cooking for people is one of my biggest love languages :)

I'm a bit of a clean freak so I wouldn't mind at all doing cleaning tasks, deep cleaning the house or anything like that!
I also have experience with kids, babysitting and/or playing with them !

Otherwise, I'm a very outdoorsy person, I love hiking, I'm as much as I can in the mountains or anywhere where it's quiet, and where there's animals and plants honestly. I'm confortable in gardening work although I don't have a lot of skills but I will learn quick, I promise :)

I'm also obviously very confortable around animals and would love to take care of them (animal care that doesn't involve exploitation).

Doing construction work is something that I really want to learn too!
I'm also a pretty artsy/crafty person, I like to draw, take pictures, crochet, embroidery and lots of other things !

I would love to learn more about permaculture, carpentry, animal care, and really anything that involves creating of building things !

I'm also originally working as a barista so I can make good coffee and a little latte art if you fancy it :)

To sum it up, I am very keen to learning new skills!! I'm definitely someone who tend to learn and engage in things pretty easily and I'm a quick learner !
