Description
We met in 2007 on the dance floor (folk dancing). A few years later we married and bought (and refurbished) a house together (till that point, a bit standard).
We don't have kids, we don't have a car, television or microwave. And in 2020 (returning from an eye-opening trip to Ecuador) we decided not to work full time any more in order to have time for all the important things of life.

From 2012 to 2024 we had a fairly big garden which after a few years provided most of our veggies and a big portion of our fruit most of the year. Recycling and reusing items is our first choice when we (think we) need something. We said goodbye to our flush toilet and made ourselves a simple composting toilet!
In 2022-2024 we spent in total 10 months in India, mostly in Gujarat and Rajasthan, having fallen in love with the Indian village life.

We decided to sell the house we had refurbished in order to buy a small apartment in the heart of Brussels. No garden anymore, but we are now mortgage-free and can spend even more time travelling.

For the moment we live in the city, which we love. But we are even more appealed to nature. We like birdwatching and long walks while enjoying nature and wildlife.

kurt & Loe are both good natured, and helped me a lot in my house and my farm and helped me in every work, I also showed my village life and life around and we visited my whole village and my village Visited the school also, and I and my family also felt good to come to my home, thank you both for coming to my home.

Kurt and loe are good couple they lived with us for 5 days and acted very good manner and did help in farm and we enjoyed together food and cultural and textile tours. Really they are good people. Would host again.

We stayed with Naran for only 5 days but would have loved to stay longer. His farm is very beautiful. We helped with watering the wheat field and cooked together one evening on the thule.

Due to our tight schedule, we could only stay at Rinku's guest house for 5 nights and would recommend everyone to stay longer.
Rinku is a very good Workaway host. He communicates very well. With previous hosts we often felt at a loss how to reach the place or what to expect. Not with him.

The surrounding are absolutely stunning. And there are lovely walks nearby. A tip: take the dogs with you if you can. They will love you for it. We saw a great many birds to.
