Hey, I am Lars, 23 years old.

I started working at a bio farm close to my home in Bruges (Belgium) and I quickly fell in love with the environment and the farming itself. I learned a lot about bio farming and met also a lot of people who came to help at the farm as 'workawayers'. It was interesting to learn about different cultures so close to my home! The work on the farm has come to an end and now it's time to go abroad as it was a thought that always been in my head. I'm at a point in my life I want to explore a lot and try new things such as volunteering via this site. :) In September, I started a Spanish course because I want to get better at Spanish as it's the country I want to go travel. Besides that it's a language I adore and in general a world language. I have been to Spain with friends to hike in the 'Picos del Europa' and surf at the northern side of Spain. It was a beautiful trip. I'm also very passionate in music. I play the drums, play in a band with friends and recently learning some guitar (classical). I love Jazz and Bossa nova with my whole heart. I am open to learn and help in different environments such as organic farming, helping with building infrastructure, helping and learning about crafting, taking care of dogs or cats (I love animals) and more...

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I worked for 5 months at a bio farm and learned the basics of organic farming. Learned to till the ground with a tractor, cut the grass with machines and many more... My native language is Dutch and I speak English fluently. I like to work with my hands and I'm not scared of using machines. I have a drivers license.
I look forward to learn some new skills as well! :)

I recently started playing tennis again and I love it! In general I like sports and love to play with others. My favorite board game is 'the settlers of Catan'. Also I'm interested in crafting and creating things out of nature elements and many more :)
