Hey :)
My name is Leonie, I am 20 years old and I come from southern Germany. I am currently studying social work and before that I took a gap year to volunteer in a youth centre.

I‘m a happy and optimistic person, extroverted and open-minded. I am organized, responsible and curious.
Travelling is my passion and I want to do it as much as possible. I enjoy discovering new countries, learning about cultures and meeting new people. On my travels I like to explore nature as well.

There are a lot of countries that I want to travel to but I am especially fascinated by Scandinavia and in particular Sweden. In the last two years I have been there several times and I cannot wait to come back each time. This is why I would love to spend a bit more time there this summer and maybe get the chance to improve my Swedish.

I’m new on Workaway and hope I can have a great time and grow as a person from this experience.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m creative and I especially love to paint. I gave some of my furniture a makeover and have painted walls before. I enjoy handcrafts and am willing to learn in that area as I am no expert. The same applies to gardening.
I really like spending time with children. I have some experiences from watching my little sister and my gap year.
In addition I love animals and taking care of them. My grandparents used to have a dog and right now I live with a Golden Retriever because it is the dog of my flatmate. I used to ride horses as a child and therefor I know some basics about handling them.
