Hello, 你好， hola, こんにちは, ciao, bonjour! I am a lover of arts (I graduated from Illustration), languages, and music. (I played piano – mostly classical music – and love jazz.)
I am originally from Taiwan, but grew up in other countries like New Zealand and the States.

I have been working as an art teacher most of my career, and last year I worked on my first picture book series to be published this year! I also have experience teaching languages. I was raised bilingual in English and Mandarin, and I then picked up Spanish, Japanese, Italian, and I've been teaching myself French. It's been 9 months now in France and I feel more comfortable in French, but always seeking to improve.

I love meeting people of different cultures and learning, and teaching! (I love to teach because I learn too.)

If you'd like someone who can teach you some foreign languages, art, or piano, I'm the one~ I can also act as a companion for your kids, paint a mural, sculpt something or make things for your home. :).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've many years of teaching/tutoring ; I have taught English, Spanish, other languages, ART, and piano.

I am professionally trained as an artist. I went to a highly ranked design school in the States, and I've worked as an art teacher ever since. I have worked also as a book designer at a publishing house, and as an illustrator; I have published some books, and taken gigs like painting murals for large walls.

I have worked extensively with kids of ages 4+, and have also spent a lot of time with teenagers.
I'm not a professional piano player but I received a distinction award for Grade 8 ABRSM so I can teach up to a certain level. (And maybe jam with you and harmonize.)

I have basic cooking skills; I can make a Spanish omelette, some pastas, Japanese curry, thai curry, miso soup. I've learned a lot in Italy from a family :).

I love learning languages so other than being bilingual in English and Mandarin, I have advanced levels of Spanish and Japanese, my Italian is getting there, and I have an intermediate level in French. (mostly self studied.)

I also love dancing - mostly ballroom (latin), hip hop and salsa. My favorite is Samba! I wish I could dance Paso Doble.
