Description
Hello :) My name is Cinzia. I’m Italian, but I lived in France for three years while doing a PhD in Philosophy. I left France in April 2024, and since then, I’ve been traveling and working around Europe.
This year, I spent some beautiful months in Spain learning the basics of bioconstruction and agriculture and... I fell in love with the desert. After that, I had two main work experiences: one in harvesting (in France and Switzerland) and another in a hostel in Italy. After a year of being nomadic in Europe, I decided to venture a bit farther away, and now I’m in Colombia.
I’m not entirely sure what I’m seeking, but I’d say I’m mostly drawn to disorienting and transformative experiences. Having always lived in Europe, I’m completely astonished by the nature and culture of this country. Every day, I see something I’ve never seen or tasted before, and it fills me with gratitude and childlike joy. I’m also eager to try new jobs and learn new skills. I love working with materials like wood, metal, and clay.
I have a huge passion for birds, so you can imagine how I feel being surrounded by this incredible diversity of species! I’m traveling solo, but I’m always happy to share parts of my journey with the people I meet along the way.
About me:
I’m an enthusiastic person who loves spending time with others and learning about them, but I also value my alone time. I enjoy learning new things and developing new skills. I love experimenting with activities like crochet, bricolage, music, and dance.
I grew up near the sea, but I’ve recently discovered the beauty of the mountains and would like to spend more time enjoying outdoor activities.
During my years of academic research, I focused on philosophical discussions related to political topics, particularly transfeminism and ecofeminism.
In recent years, I’ve also worked as a babysitter for four children, which helped me realize that maybe I’d like to work in the field of child education in the future.
