29/06/2025CIAO. Buongiorno 🙏. Sono Nunzio, il tuo prossimo workaway, spero 😊! Sono stato un manutentore meccanico per molti anni, ora in pensione. Il mio interesse principale è migliorare il mio inglese, ascoltarlo e parlarlo. Sarò felice di fare qualsiasi tipo di lavoro con interesse e pazienza se mi darai gli strumenti giusti. Vorrei anche imparare a cucinare se sarai abbastanza paziente da mostrarmelo. Mi piace incontrare nuove persone e lavorare con loro. Amo lo sport, sono stato un insegnante di karate, in passato, ora non pratico più ormai da 20 anni. Ora faccio lunghe passeggiate e faccio esercizio fisico a corpo libero in palestra per mantenermi in forma. Sto imparando, o almeno ci sto provando, a suonare la chitarra, amo (adoro) ballare il boogie woogie, lindy hop e college shag. Potrei anche insegnarlo, come anche la lingua italiana. Le mie capacità sono il fai da te, so saldare e lavorare il legno, potrei costruire un tavolo una vetrina una porta una finestra , in pratica ho manualità con il legno e gli attrezzi da falegnameria, anche tinteggiare, so fare un po' di tutto. Uso metodicamente il motosega e il trattorino nel mio orto. Mi piace viaggiare per migliorare il mio inglese. Ho due figli adulti, Marcella e Giuseppe ormai autonomi. Abbiamo due grandi case in Italia con orto e prato erboso e un piccolo uliveto. Ho anche due cani e tre gatti, un piccolo pollaio con tre galline per le uova e due piccole galline nere. La cosa che mi piace fare è lavorare nel mio laboratorio. Purtroppo non so cucinare e non bevo alcolici, se necessario posso imparare. 🤗 Cucinare ma non bere alcolici 😂 Spero di incontrarti. I am a skillful worker, I can do some carpentry work, I can take care of the garden, and I am a general maintenance man, eg. mechanical and hydraulic. I can weld and fix tails. And more. 🤔😂

I stayed one month in Rachel's house. We made many things, like repairing some wooden tables and a fance, painting a bedroom and a cupboard, and doing other little jobs. Also we planted a green lown with a foot path in the middle .

I was in Primrose's house for two weeks.
I can say that Primrose is a very polite lady and helpfull with me.
My room was very comfortable and clean.
I worked for 5 hours per day and later free all day.
The area arround the house is very calm, there is no traffic, no smog, no noise.

This is one of life’s gentlemen an absolute delight to have in my home.
He is very funny, kind and respectful and was a great help during his stay.
He weeded my flower bed, tidied the garden and made a huge difference.

It was a pleasure to work alongside Nunzio he is a skilled and capable craftsman. He helped me with general maintenance, carpentry and plastering and spent many of his evenings and weekends exploring London and learning English. I can highly recommend him.

Nuzios English is very limited but he made up with it by his sunny disposition, willingness to help and his ability to use his common sense. If he saw something needed doing we didn't need to ask he would just sort it. He is a lovely guy and full of fun and life. We would highly recommend him as a helper.
