Description

My name is Antoine, but everyone calls me Tony. I'm a 27-year-old Belgian guy traveling from January to September across Asia and Oceania.

I'm an entrepreneur with projects in the food, music, and fashion industries — I love building things from scratch and bringing ideas to life. After an intense and fulfilling year in 2024, I decided to slow down a bit and open myself up to new people, cultures, and perspectives. That’s what brought me here on Workaway.

I’m a very hands-on person. I renovated my apartment in Brussels by myself and helped transform a garden from scratch — so I feel completely comfortable with manual tasks, working with tools, gardening, or helping with small renovation projects. I actually enjoy physical work and getting my hands dirty — it’s super rewarding.

For example, during the covid in 2020, I’ve turned an old pick up from the 60’s into an amazing bartruck (have a look on ig : pickitup_bar).

I also have experience of working with children. I spent several years as a scout leader in Belgium, organizing camps and activities for kids and teenagers. It taught me patience, creativity, and how to create fun, safe spaces for young people. I’m more than happy to help with babysitting or supporting families with their daily routines.

When it comes to animals, I feel totally at ease too. I’ve lived for years with my dog Ralph — a 7-year-old Cocker Spaniel who’s currently staying with my family while I travel — so I know how to care for pets with love and responsibility. Whether it’s walking, feeding, playing or just keeping them company, I’ve got it covered.

On top of that, I live alone in my apartment in Brussels, so I’m used to managing a home, cooking, cleaning, and taking care of all kinds of household tasks — I’m independent, respectful, and always happy to contribute.

People say I’m easygoing, curious, and always up for learning something new. I enjoy sports (especially running and field hockey), meaningful conversations, and simple, shared moments. I hope to meet inspiring people along the way, help out wherever I can, and make the most of every experience.

I have an academic background in business engineering, which gives me strong skills in project development, planning, and problem-solving. I love contributing to meaningful ideas and I’m full of creative solutions to bring any kind of project to life — whether it’s social, artistic, logistical, or entrepreneurial.

💻 Digital & Content Creation
I’ve built and managed several digital projects. I know how to create engaging content — from visuals to storytelling — and I’m comfortable with digital tools, basic design, and social media strategy. I can also help with structuring ideas or building a simple website or online presence.

🍳 Cooking & Food Experiences
Cooking is a big part of my life. I love preparing fresh, creative meals and sharing them with people. In Brussels, I’ve created and hosted dining experiences that mix good food with unique atmospheres. I'm always happy to help in the kitchen or take the lead on a meal.

I work across food, fashion, and music industries, always driven by curiosity and a strong desire to connect with people. I enjoy taking initiative, building projects from scratch, and learning by doing.

I’m passionate about both digital and film photography. I love capturing the vibe of a space or the beauty of a moment. I’d be glad to help you take warm, authentic photos — whether it’s for your home, your social media, or your own memories.

🔧 DIY & Gardening
I’ve renovated an apartment and a garden, so I’m very comfortable with painting, fixing things, using tools, and doing physical work. I enjoy building things with my hands and making a place more beautiful and functional.

👶 Childcare
I used to be a scout leader in Belgium, where I organized camps and activities for kids and teens. I’m calm, positive, and used to creating a fun and safe environment for children.

🐶 Animal Care
I have a 7-year-old Cocker Spaniel named Ralph back in Brussels, so I’m very familiar with animal care — especially dogs. I can walk, feed, and play with them with care and affection.

I'll be in Australia starting from May 9 and I'm currently looking for a Workaway experience in a city — ideally a vibrant place where I can meet people, discover local culture, and contribute to meaningful projects.
