Hello everybody!!

I’m Florian. I’m really happy to be back among the great Workaway community, last time was in 2016!

I’m from the Alps in France, a beautiful place between lakes and mountains. It’s a region where you live with the seasons: in Winter, skiing and snowboarding are what makes us enjoy the snow the most. And then during Spring, Summer and Autumn, trekking, climbing, and swimming in lakes and rivers allow us to connect with our natural and magical environment.

For a long time, my life was all about work. And for the last decade or so, I’ve come to realize that life is much more than that. When I left my comfort zone, I decided to dance with life. I dared to experiment with various experiences like yoga, walking, going to Ireland without speaking English, discovering new jobs. It led me to meet incredible people who inspired me. Little by little, I became more aware of the need to give meaning to my life. I am passionate about human relationships and interested in the world of therapeutic accompaniment through energies, massages and dance. Today, I’m taking on a new challenge: my first trip outside of Europe! A real leap into the unknown for me! For several years, I have been attracted to Latin America, and especially Colombia. I want to see colors, dance, and discover a new culture. Meeting new people and new cultures, I want to let myself be carried by this journey. My adventure starts on November 21st in Cartagena de Indias. I’m excited to meet and share my journey with you.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Let’s move on to skills and abilities! I studied agriculture in high school. It is a field that I master even if I’ve not been in this profession for a couple of years. I can drive tractors and other large machines. I’m not scared of the difficulty of the work, I’m a hard worker and skilled for the work of the land, planting, harvesting, etc. The work area where I feel the most at home is tourism, sales and entertainment. As I stated in my description I like human relationships and communication. I am currently gaining experience in energy care and massages. As you might understand, I like to learn new things through meetings! One of my greatest abilities is adaptation and the most important thing for me is to work in joy!
