  We are a small group of houses on a hillside in Tuscany. It is a unique place, originally restored by an artist (sculptor) and her work is all through the grounds and inside the houses and apartments. There are 9 accommodations in total, various houses or apartments, all of them self-catering. From April to October, we have guests who typically stay for a period of between 3 nights and 2 weeks.
  
  We need help during the season with maintenance, carrying luggage, taking care of the pool, and keeping the many paths and terraces clean and tidy. The work could be quite physical sometimes, some of our guests have very heavy luggage and there are some steps at the place as it is built on a hill, so there is a need ofcarrying things up steps.
  
  If you are available to help with houses cleaning on specific days (not regularly) we can pay higher salary.
  
  Three of us work here year-round, and we have cleaners as needed and a local person helping with gardening once a week... It is truly beautiful here, the views are stunning, the surrounding area is full of culture. A great place to spend a summer!

  The owners Blaise and Dinah speak fluently english and french, and a bit of Italian. We have staff who is always happy to talk to you in Italian. Five minutes from here by car is a pizzeria/restaurant/bar and a local shop for groceries etc. The people down there are extremely friendly, and our summer helpers always go there. As our summer helper has the use of a car, he/she can do a lot of sightseeing on their time off. During the summer, we have many interesting people staying from all over the world.
  
  We pay monthly and offer accommodation (internet and services included), use of a car, and use of the kitchen. Meals will be discussed. We offer flexible days off per week.

  Ajuda

  We are looking for someone from beginning of July until end of August ideally, or end of September if you wish. We can study availabilities for 1 month, please send a message.
  
  Nb* : if you wish to help for cleaning the properties (after check-out), only on specific days, not every day, we can pay higher salary !
  
  The help mainly consists of cleaning the swimming pool and keeping the paths and common areas clean and tidy on a daily basis; taking the rubbish out daily, etc.
  
  Helping the guests with their luggage when they arrive , helping guests with their luggage when they leave. You will drive an Ape 50cc -I'll teach you if you don't know-.
  
  Gardening: watering the many pots and plants; helping the gardener to carry machinery from and to the parking lot; raking after the gardener cuts the grass and helping to move plant debris to the parking lot.
  
  We rarely need help to perform simple maintenance jobs in the accommodation (for instance: blocked drain, burned-out bulb, changing a gas bottle, etc). So, it is important but not mandatory to have a basic knowledge of 'make do and mend'. We have professional outside help for major repairs and disasters!
  
  We are looking for someone with a sense of humour, who enjoys meeting people, who speaks at least a bit of English and who has a clean driving license. Healthy and fit people find the job less exhausting, as per the steps we have around the hamlet and the type of help we require (carrying luggage, taking equipment up the many steps to the swimming pool, which is at the top of the hamlet, moving big bins, etc). Please take this into account when applying for the job, which is perhaps more suitable for a guy.

  Bedroom (small double bed or twin bed) with ensuite shower room. Use of kitchen. Use of car (we fill up the petrol tank sometimes but do not count on this).

  We are one half hours from Florence, one hour from the Carrara marble quarries, 45 minutes Pisa, 40 minutes Lucca. Closer to home is Pietrasanta, a town full of galleries and sculpture. The coast is 25 minutes away. Viareggio train station is 20 minutes away from home and it counts with a huge free parking space where you can park the car and take a train to visit places that are further away.
