On my days off Jo took me to the beach and Montville, I really enjoyed it and will never forget it❤

It was a real pleasure to spend time with Jo, Stella, and Stephen! This was my first workaway experience and one that I will truly never forget. While I was originally planning to stay for only 3 weeks, this extended to a month, both because my plans with another host fell through but also because I loved it here so much. … read more this at all and the communication was great, they are all very down-to-earth people and this place quickly began to feel like a home away from home. Work was varied (cleaning, gardening, painting, etc.) but never too taxing and they were always very considerate of my energy levels. I was blessed to be able to learn to sew with Jo and Stella, have mini yoga lessons from Stephen, and spend time bonding with pets Rangi and Leo. The Sunshine Coast is beautiful, and even though I didn't have my own vehicle, I was always given the option to have rides to the beach, shops, and national parks which was wonderful to explore on my own, but I also enjoyed spending time on their property, watching shows and movies together, and having a nice dinner together at the end of each day. I feel so blessed to have stumbled upon this generous family and sincerely hope the best for them! Nothing was too much trouble for Plim and she readily and capably turned her hand to anything I asked of her.
