I have lived more than 2 months with Todd and his housemates and I have to say that it is the best choice to live the Australian adventure 100% because theirs lifestyle, the place and theirs ideas are very aussies. Todd and his roommates, who live in a house in the middle of the bush and theirs many friends who visit them, are very nice, funny and
… read more friendly and do not stop talking, and even if you don't understand them very much (as was my case), they don't care and they have a lot of patience with the language.
He took me every week to different lakes and waterfalls in amazing areas and left me his bike whenever he wanted to return there. As for work, he always gave me to choose the type of work to do and the schedule that I wanted, totally flexible and with many different tasks...Works in an orchard that he wants to do in his huge garden, fixing computers, and crafts work in his workshop because he has a wood milling machine, a vinyl cutter and a laser engraving assembly (I am an engineer and apart from attending a lot it was very entertaining). I also made manuals for whoever wants to learn to use them but you can do other craft staff more easy if you want.
You also have many walks on paths in the forest where there is nobody, some days you can see kangaroos in front of the house and very friendly birds that come to ask you for food.
And I think it is important to highlight that Todd welcomed me in the middle of the coronavirus crisis, when almost all the people I asked told me that they didn't want to host workaways. Todd and his flatmates are wonderful people to stay with! They make you directly feel at home.
They bring me to waterfall of the area,Belly dancing class,good cafe shop, Eumundi markets and local bar!
And also they show me how to gardening,how to make a bee hotel and what they eat.
Todd give me a interested mission which was resetting the
… read more outdoor area, I really enjoy this activity.

My experience with Tod left me with a warm feeling of coming back again in future for sharing many others experiences, chats, art creations, as I spend only 6 days.
Same if he worked week days, he told me what can be done for the next day, without any pressure of hours. I know he appreciate autonomous people who knows how to also personnaly use
… read more their time. Mainly I have done weeding on the land, transplanting in reused nice pots.
Into the weekend, as a recycler artist, Tod like to get going with his loads of creative projects in his workshop and just wish for motivated people to join in!!! For my own personnal art project I painted a flower pot and reuse twisted cop wire to wrap stone as decoration. He is very present to give a hand.
Tod host me & my van setup in his backyard easily with acces of the amenities of the house. We went shopping food together, he make sure I got kind of food that suits me. I enjoy a lot saturday Yandina Market for fresh local fruits & vg :) We cooked and ate dinner together and sometimes also in company of the nice housemates.
We visit Wappa falls really close by, we made a huge bonfire, we had little music jam, games, plenty of free time also!!! The view at the front of the house is wonderful with horses paddick and montains, so peaceful.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.
