It was really nice and memorable to have Lucia and Josip staying and helping me on my little farm. It was such a pity they could only stay one week.
They are very friendly, respectful, helpful, relaxed and have a lot and great humor.
We had a lot of nice and meaningful conversations and a lot of laughs.
Josip really had to use his imagination to

I had to remind him that it did not had to be a palace because the chickens don't care, but he manged to give them a new wonderful house anyway. He also saw other things which I needed help with or needed to be done, without telling so.
Lucia helped me to get a part of the veggie garden in order and mostly helped to cut the fur of my 3 sheep. It was a new experience for both of us and we had to figure out how to do best and how to join forces for the task , but it was a blast for both of us to do so and see a bald sheep coming under our hands and enjoying the experience. In the meantime we had nice conversations and laughs, even if it was early in the morning ;-)
I had to remind them sometimes that they had to take some time of to relax because they really did much more than they should have.
They will be a much appreciated and positive couple to have around to join you in helping with your project and think with you how to get it done.
Staying with Marjolein and her animals was a blast! We could only stay for one week but still learnt a lot from her in that short time. It is very impressive how self-sufficiently she lives and interesting to hear about her visions to live more and more off-grid in the future.
Marjolein is very accommodating and has a very grounded, joyful and

She has this mind set that every person has skills they are good at, they might only have to discover them yet, and this is a very reassuring and heartening attitude which everyone will appreciate who comes to join her at her place.
She really encourages you to try things out but also often reminds you to only do what you're comfortable doing. But it's just really easy to feel comfortable with her around!
She is also very mindful about making the tasks not too one-sided or monotonous and really cares about not overburdening you or making you feel like you're "just" a helping hand.
She also welcomes you to try her selfmade juices, jams and all that jazz, which are all absolutely delicious and her cooking in general is superb! The room is very spacious and cosy and the place is magnificent. Very soon you can feel very much at ease in Marjolein's home.
It was a lot of fun working with the sheep and building a chicken shed, sharing meals together or a beer and having interesting conversations with Marjolein, who is an impressive woman and a complete thinker ;-) Cheers Marjolein for having us, it was a wonderful experience!
Marjoline Oasis is the perfect place if you're looking for peace, nature, and meaningful experiences.
Surrounded by woods and her lovely animals, Marjoline quickly found a place in our hearts. She's an inspiring person who shared with us her dream of living in a self-sufficient way and taught us so much — from caring for animals to useful skills

When it comes to work, she's always kind, patient, and flexible. She's available to explain tasks clearly and often switches activities to keep things balanced and enjoyable.
And her cooking? Simply amazing! Every day we had tasty meals, plus homemade jam and juice for breakfast.
After each meal, we shared long conversations about all kinds of topics — always laughing, sharing our ideas
We truly can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Marjoline!
Giacomo & Guido where fantastic helpers on my little farm.
They where kind, polite, respectful ,responsible and helpful to me and my animals. And they gave a lot of positive attention to my animals.
They are talkative and learned me a lot about their country and I picked up quit a bit Italian.
Not a job was to hard and when they saw me struggling

You can make good conversation and agreements with them and they love to cook for you while they have a passion for eating and cooking.
They learned to use an electric chainsaw to saw big branches, but need some more guidance to prune trees mechanized.
They also helped me to make a goat climbing toy so they could learn to saw by hand and how to use an electric screwdriver.
They are really nice guys and where a great help and I am happy to know they want to come back.

Marjolein has been an amazing host. We felt welcomed from the very first moment and we really had a great time in her beautiful house. Even though we had no direct experience with farm-related tasks like sawing wood etc., she took the time to teach us and always made sure we were comfortable with the work she needed us to do. It was really nice to have Paolo and Gabriele staying here for a week.
They were friendly, easy going, respectful. We had nice talks and laughs.
The work I had for them was never to much and they were eager to learn how to manage the tasks and learn for themselves. When I told them they could do things differently they picked that up straight

It was very nice to have help from Nadine.
She is friendly, led the way for her friend, was great with my abused dogs (who really grow because of how she was with them). We had some nice talks. She was interested in me, my dogs, the way I live and what I do en also for the area I live in.
So got the most out of her stay and that was nice to
