We had an extraordinary one week experience at Pieter and Michelle´s with their two lovely kids. They were very welcoming and we quickly felt at home. They were very kind to show us different parts of their property and business and they were always glad to elaborate on any questions we had in various subjects. They had a large knowledge in many
… read more different areas and they were always a joy to talk with.
They gave us different jobs during the week which were mainly babysitting and garden clean ups. We had fun when working and we felt that we where giving a very useful hand. There were many things to do and they were flexible in terms of when and what we were working on. Whenever there were gaps in our daily duties they were happy to drive us to beautiful locations in the area. We loved Budj Bim National Park and we had so many authentic wild life experience that we wouldn´t have had if we didn´t come here.
This trip was in our top 3 experiences in Australia and we truly recommend going here if you want to experience Victoria´s countryside. Thank you again for everything and we hope to see you in Denmark sometime!

A fantastic 8 days with Pieter, Michelle & co. I arrived in time for Music in the Vines, their yearly music festival; a really fun day pouring (& sampling) Pieter & Michelle's delicious wines, beers & ciders for a local crowd enjoying the music. The atmosphere was great, & Pieter made sure we took time to enjoy it as much as possible between

During my stay, Pieter & Michelle were extremely generous with their time, offering to take myself & another workawayer around to see sights of natural beauty both near & far. We enjoyed meals, wine & whiskey together & even got to sample an experimental batch of Pieter's distilled nectarine 'beer' and learn about small-scale distilling firsthand.

We had wonderful 12 days with Pieter, Michelle and her little daughter. Pieter and Michelle are very nice, super helpful and obliging. There are almost no words to describe the joy we felt getting to know the family, the neighbours and also the other workawayers. Everyone was super welcoming and appreciative of the work that we did. We worked in
… read more the vineyards and in in the garden, looked after the little cute daughter, cooked dinner and helped preparing everything for the big village festival ‘’music in the vines” which we enjoyed a lot. On the festival we worked behind the bar and served homemade drinks: different kind of beers, wine and cider :), which tasted delicious. Pieter and Michelle made South African food for us and told and showed us some things about their origins. Pieter explained us the unbelievable night sky, showed us a beautiful sunset and did nice barbecues and bonfires. Michelle is super careful, attentive and showed us one night a koala in their garden tree. The surrounding of the vineyards is just beautiful and super peaceful. Michelle and Pieter recommended us going to the Grampians National Park and lended us camping stuff. We had the chance to explore the impressive mountains. Michelle and Pieter cared a lot about us and showed us interesting things.
Our stay with this family, in the vineyard and in the brewery was our first workaway experience and we are very grateful for that. Hope we meet again one day!Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

Julie stayed with us for just over 2 weeks and enjoyed getting to know her. Julie carried out the tasks we set her to a high standard and moved quickly to get things done promptly. Had the greatest time with Pieter, Michelle and their little daughter during my stay. I've learned so much about wine, beer, cider and so on. After two months of work/travel in Australia, I felt at home again. Such an happy and generous family that I can highly recommend to anyone.

We had an absolute ball with Pieter and Michelle. They made us feel at home and their house and farm is lovely.

We have been travelling for 11 months now and this was the first place we felt like home. Pieter and Michelle are generous, kind, warm and simply amazing people.
The work that needed to be done was explained and showed clearly, so you know what to do.
After work we would have great conversations, play games, watch movies (or fall asleep on the
… read more couch). During our free time they also took us to a few places where we had beautiful walks and saw koala's, kangeroos and wallabies.
The farm is great and taking care of the animals was a fun experience. The alpaca's are hilarious! Getting to know more about wine and beer was exciting. Pieter and Michelle are eager to explain the inner works so we learned a lot.
There are also 2 dogs on the farm and in the house, they are so sweet and we enjoyed starting our day with taking them for a walk.
