  We are an active family based in Karasjok. We are active in sports with skiing and cycling and dog sledding. The kennel has 20 Siberian huskies and a hunting dog. We participate in smaller races and the Finnmarksløpet. The dogs are of all ages, and they are family dogs, walking dogs and sled dogs.

  We are based in the heart of Sápmi, the kennel is idyllically located by one of the world's best salmon rivers. We have a river boat, canoe and opportunities to fish. We are Sámi, and we harvest from nature. If desired, there is the opportunity to participate in traditional harvesting activities, as well as the preparation and processing of local raw materials.

  We are a medium-sized kennel with 20 Siberian Huskies in the heart of Sápmi. The dogs are our family members, and they are of all ages. In the summer the dogs have time off, but they still need care and exercise. Do you want to learn more about huskies and get to know the quiet but powerful pulse of Finnmarkvidda? Join us on trips in the mountains and on the plains, and learn about the Sami culture and presence
  We are an active family, and in the summer we often go fishing and hiking with our dogs. So if you want to participate in activities that involve dogs and amazing nature, this could be the place for you..

  I am a language worker and at the same time taking a master's in Sami language and literature, so I have a slightly above average interest in language.

  Acomodação

  You will live in the house with us, and you will have one room of your own. The house has two bathrooms. We live right by the river, in the center. In addition, we have a cabin that may be possible to retreat to. The cabin is located about 15 km from the center, and has no running water or electricity. In the summer it is powered by solar panels, and there is a compost toilet and a river with clean running water right below.
  
  We are a foodie family, and we cook dinner every day. Often it is food that we harvest ourselves. All meals are covered, and we always eat dinner together. We harvest from nature, so dinners mainly consist of what we get ourselves from the local area. Otherwise, all food will be covered, and if desired, you can join in hunting, fishing and berry picking if it is in season.
