So sorry this is so overdue! We were so overcome and will always be so grateful for Lenny and Ned's generosity and kindness towards us. Just after a short amount of time staying with Lenny and Ned they offered for us to stay at their other house for 3 months!! It's only because of their trust and kindness towards us that we were able to find work

Kōta and his friend Fumiya stayed with us for a few weeks and they were perfect helpers for me. They completed all the tasks I asked of them and most importantly my dogs adored them and they knew just how to treat them. It was a pleasure to have their company.

Maria was a great help to me for the short time she was here. She did a good job of every task I gave her, cooked some simple but delicious meals and she was good with the dogs.

I stayed at Leny’s for three weeks and did 10 hours of gardening and a little housework for accomodation. I had a private room downstairs with a shower, toilet, sink, fridge so nearly self sufficient except for cooking.

The location of this property is absolutely fantastic and is walking distance to the centre of town (approx 20 minutes)
I was able to work my gardening hours on the days I chose as I was job hunting and looking for a rental as I was relocating to Launceston.

I stayed with Leny for 2 weeks and she was so accomodating and such a friendly character to be around! My main jobs were cooking and dishes, helping around the house, gardening jobs, and helping with the puppies (which was more of a reward than a job hahah). Her house is in such a convenient spot, as it is quiet being just outside the city,
… read more however a short bus ride or walk into town. I enjoyed playing with her dogs Hamilton and Amira, and got a bit attached to the puppies hahah. I loved cooking vegetarian meals for Leny, her sister and her son, and trying new recipes. For the last few days of my stay Aisha joined me and she was very accomodating and kind enough to accept her to stay last minute. Would highly recommend staying with Leny and company!

Leny and Ned were trusting me to dog and housesit while they were in Victoria. This without knowing me. So there are still people that have trust in this world and society. We only met Quinten briefly before leaving him for a few days to look after our house and pets. He did everything I asked of him and more. The garden looks great, our many pets are happy and he fixed our shower. Highly recommended.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Cedric with us. He stayed for almost 6 weeks and we didn't want him to leave. While he was with us he made beautiful stairs, put lights and power points into our garage, made a retaining wall, fixed our doors and windows, the list goes on, he has so many very useful skills. Leny and Ned also the beautiful dogs were all very welcoming, I enjoyed my time here for 2 weeks, I enjoyed working with Leny working in the garden and really enjoyed building their banisters for the balcony. It was a pleasure to have Oliver with us for a few months. He was very easy to get on with and he would have a go at everything we asked him to. The dogs really miss him too. We highly recommend him.
