From day one, Merran, Jeremy, and Sam welcomed me with such warmth and kindness. They’re truly lovely people—humble, down-to-earth, and full of heart. It’s clear how much they value the life they’ve built and the project they’re working on, putting so much care and dedication into everything they do.

One of the most memorable moments was a special dinner we shared. Merran cooked delicious meat and veggies using her impressive Aga cooker, a 750-kilo iron giant! We had a good laugh imagining how many people it took to get it installed. The food, the conversation, and the whole atmosphere that evening were truly unforgettable. Special thanks to Fran and Liam for helping me with the translations 😂
Big thanks to Sam as well, for the ice cream stop—and especially for his reaction when trying mate! He was the only one brave enough to have some during my stay. 😄
Also, a special thank you to Mary—I hope to see her soon in Townsville!
Every single day brought a big smile to my face and a genuine feeling of home, which is rare to find in such a short time.
I truly hope you get the chance to visit Argentina one day—I’d love to be your tour guide! Also, thank you for the fruit—I ended up taking some back with me to share, along with the stories of everything I learned during my stay.
I left with a full heart and a deeply enriching experience.
Wishing you all the success in the world—may you always keep that beautiful energy and those bright smiles.
And to the next Workawayer who comes here: stay as long as you can. You won’t regret it.

Nicole brought such a wealth of knowledge, experience, joy and commitment to our farm. She took initiative, always helpful and meticulous is all we asked her to do. If you are lucky enough to have Nicole do a WorkaWay stint with you, then you will be truly blessed.

I stayed for 2 weeks with Merran and Jeremy and had an amazing time working in such a unique area. It was really lovely to live and work on the farm which you could tell was so well cared for by the family, and to be able to see all the new projects they have implemented on the farm to improve soil quality in a sustainable way. The daily work was

Cooking responsibility was split between self-made and eating with the family, and i always looked forward to a dish the Merran cooked as she is a fantastic chef! You spend a lot of time working with Jeremy and his son Sam who are both fantastic to work with, easy to get along and always there to ask if you have a query. I would highly recommend this placement to anyone considering it.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

We enjoyed our two weeks with Merran, Jeremy and Samm extremely!
They are great hosts, live their convictions and pursue exciting projects to improve their soil. Two incredible bush huts are available for accommodation. You feel safe and secure and yet you are in the middle of the nocturnal sounds of the rainforest. A wonderful feeling!

We didn't feel exploited as cheap labour at all. On the contrary, Merran and Jeremy know how to use the workawayers for exciting projects and make them feel part of the family.
Thank you very much and see you again! We miss your fruit already.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

Matthias and Anne-Sophie were fantastic. They were able to take on projects, multi skill and were always respectful and polite. We really enjoyed having this couple spend time with us and work our our groundswell HUMI pile. I spent 2 weeks working on the farm with Merran Jeremy and the rest of the family, everyone being very nice and welcoming. You may expect the general farm work such as picking the fruits, cleaning them and packaging, in order to be sent and distributed all over Australia. However, jobs can also include building dams, babysitting, helping out in

The accommodation, the bush hut, is a very comfortable and a fitting hut, it is located on the edge of the forest so you get that feeling of being fully immersed in the rainforest, which I really enjoyed. I really enjoyed my whole experience and learnt lot a lot about the farm, fruits and the history of the area and couldn't have asked for a better first workaway experience.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.
