Beth did an outstanding job working in our gardens and taking care of our dog with daily walks and dog sitting while we were out of town. Such a lovely person who isn’t afraid to get dirty and work hard to get the job done. We highly Beth! She was a pleasure to have around.

Ciara spent a few weeks with our family in March 2017, helping us with housekeeping, gardening and childcare. She fit right in to our laid-back coastal lifestyle and always was willing to help with anything we needed, excelling at all her responsibilities.

… read more our 20 month old daughter, was a natural. Most of her time was playing with our daughter, keeping her safe and happy, while Mom worked at home. Whether they were playing on the beach, jumping in puddles or doing puzzles inside, Ciara always had a smile on her face, you could see the joy that working with kids brings to her. She treated our daughter like her own, we felt extremely comfortable when Allie was in Ciaras care and would love to have her come back.
We loved hosting Ciara and would welcome her back into our home anytime. She left a lasting impression on our daughter,always taking about Ciara and asking for her to return. We miss her and hope one day she can come back to care for our daughter again.

Allie is one of the kindest and politest toddlers I have ever had the pleasure of spending time with. She is such a happy baby, which really reflects the nature and nurture of both Lauren and Dave.

Dave and Lauren are incredible hosts. They were my first host ever using workaway and I can only say that they made sure I loved it. They insured that my stay at their home was both insightful and cozy throughout my stay. Their lovely daughter Allie was such a joy to be around and take care of for my stay. … read more it really makes the experience of living in Sechelt so incredible. They were so sweet and considerate to me and really made sure that I felt welcome into their lovely family.
They gave me such a good impression on the Canadian hospitality and taught me so much about so many different things. Lauren was so sweet to take me on some hikes and show me the beauty of British Columbia. Lauren and Dave both ensured I experienced the Canadian food and culture, which is absolutely great!!

I really couldn't have asked for a more welcoming, happy family to spend my first week with in Canada. Dave and Lauren are so kind, thoughtful and helpful way beyond need, and this being my first workaway experience, they immediately made me feel at home with them.
Lauren collected me from the ferry terminal, and before we had even got back to
… read more their house, she and Allie (such a sweet, intelligent baby!) had taken me on a wee climb to the most spectacular views over the inlet. The week proceeded in this vein, and we went on many walks and hikes together in that beautiful part of the world. I met the lovely and charismatic Dave at dinner, and after a delicious meal (Dave and Lauren are both brilliant cooks) they took me on a trip in their boat to do some crabbing, and, hearing I hadn't fished before, made it their mission to teach me how to! Four rock cod later I can say it was a pretty memorable evening.
Over the course of the week, I went on sunset boat trips, tried sea kayaking, walked to the local parks, beaches and even a waterfall with sweet Abby, visited the awesome wilderness resort Dave manages, borrowed Lauren's bike to go on an evening cycle to the beach, swum in the sea, and soaked up life in general in Beautiful BC. But my favourite activity might have been when Lauren taught me to paddle-board though - the late evening sun glinting off the calm waters, only mountains and sea ahead of me as I watched the sun set. Until Abby ran onto the board and I almost plummeted right in!
I can't thank Dave and Lauren enough for such a great stay. You took me in to your home and made me feel like part of the family. You are such a wonderful couple and a beautiful family too, with a life you make me very envious of ;) I miss your fantastic place right by the sea and at the foot of the mountains, I miss your fabulous cooking, I miss the great variety of outdoor activities but most of all I miss you!Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

We loved hosting Chloe for the 3 weeks and welcome her back anytime. Chloe was a huge help around our house, helping with housekeeping, gardening and dog walking. She worked very hard while she was here and we made sure to show her the beauty of the Sunshine Coast during her free time. She did an amazing job of doing a deep clean in our house

I just spent the most 3 amazing weeks of my entire life with Lauren, Dave and Allie. These people are seriously AMAZING. I felt comfortable with them from the very first day I arrived. Lauren's cooking is awesome, and Dave's baking is unbelievable! I had such an incredible experience here, I would recommend to anyone to come here ASAP.

… read more and Lauren are the best people I met here on my trip. They always made sure I was having fun. Everyday, there was some new trail Lauren would show me, or I would do another boat ride with Dave. There is always something to do in the sunshine coast: hikes, boat, running half marathon, visit downtown, going to the farmers market, and so much more. There is no way someone can get bored here. The house here was so clean and the view from the backyeard is so incredible I felt like I wad living on a postcard. It is so gorgeous I still can't believe it's real even after 3 weeks. I liked it so much I am coming back very very soon!
Allie is such a great baby, she is so nice and smart and I really enjoyed playing with her. Abby, their dog, is very educated and I could give her all the love she wanted and she always wants to plan which is awesome for an animal lover. There is so much to do here for an outdoor fan, and as I like being active that place was the perfect fit for me. I loved gardening here, so many gardens and they look awesome and to spend time to make them look nice did not even sound like "work" to me.
My time here just seems like a dream, and I would not be shy to recomand these hosts to anyone who asks me.
