Hey! We are a couple from Antwerp, Belgium.
We love travelling, spontaneous adventures, meeting different kinds of people, learning to understand new cultures, and so much more.
We prefer alternative experiences instead of travelling from place to place all the time. We want to connect deeper.
Riet just finished her studies and decided to take a few months off to empower her mind and push boundaries. She is interested in psychology, sociology, biology, antropology, filosophy....
She's also interested in art and paints/draws in her free time. So she loves to help paint something or help with esthetic things. Furthermore she was in the youth movement for twelve years so she knows the value of social contacts and is not afraid to get dirty.
She worked in a restaurant and other jobs with clients, so she knows how to be friendly and sometimes solve problems. She also did a lot of physical student jobs in the festival sector.
Her biggest qualities I would say are that's she's open minded, very understanding, a true listener and always sincere kindness.
Arne would be an added value if you need help with construction. He worked as a roofer and after a few years he decided to follow his heart and go study journalism.
He's not only a handyman. He is a pleasant addition to the conversation as he is funny and fond of deeper conversations in which he learns new aspects about politics, opinions, cultures...
He is sporty so likes to be active. I would say his best qualities are open mindedness, social (he can get along with any type of person), passionate, smart and strong.
We both are hard workers.
We have had a few adventures already. We hiked in the himalaya mountains of Nepal and met a whole new world there. We discovered the beauty of the people and nature in Albania and some other countries. Arne grew up doing voluntary work in South Africa and one time Senegal. His family has their own project there now.
Two years ago we travelled for a year in South America and did some volunteering in Colombia and Bolivia. Mainly on farms and self sustaining projects.
We want to be close to the people of a country, because getting to know them, their culture and interests gives a whole new dimension to our journey and empowers our minds.
ps: if you don't want a couple, we're not clingy! So you can consider us ;)
