ELENA'S DESCRIPTION
Hello there! My name is Elena, I'm 26 and I got a master degree in Philosophy last year. I've been working for a few months in Trento - where I studied and now live with Nicole - but I've always wanted to live in another country for a while. I hope this may be the occasion to do that :)

I'm a joyful person and I try to be kind to others as much as I can, because I think the world can be a better place if everyone contributes in some way. Personally, I am a volunteer in a day time centre, where I teach kids how to play chess.
In my spare time, I like studying new languages, reading and watching sports, but I fancy playing board games and videogames, too. My other hobbies are cooking, drawing and playing guitar, and I've been doing these things since I was in high school.
I have always loved travelling: when I was little, I visited London and Barcelona with my parents, and during high school I went to Germany, China and Greece with my classmates. I also visited Switzerland (Genève), France, Belgium, Holland, Scotland, Finland and Estonia (Tallinn) and Norway (Tromsø and Lofoten) in the last years.

I'm trying to understand what I want to do in the future (and where), so workaway seemed to me like the best option to combine my passion for travels and my desire to explore different working opportunities.

NICOLE'S DESCRIPTION
Hi, I'm Nicole, I'm 23 and I'm graduated in Political Sciences. Now I'm studying social services in Trento, where I live with Elena. In the future I would like to work as a social projectist or with minors, expecially as a minor judge.
In my spare time, I volunteer in a community for minors, dance hip-hop, read, paint with watercolor, and crochet (in general I love everithing which is handmade!). I also like playing guitar, but I'm not as good as Elena ;)
I enjoy travelling, meeting other cultures and tasting new food. I've visited about every country of UE!

Languages: Italian (fluent), English (intermediate), Spanish (beginner).

Speaking as a couple, we're particulary interested in handcrafting, gardening and doing practical things, but we're also good at babysitting and playing with kids in general, so we would be happy to do that as well.

The final secret is... we say we're travelling because we like nature and foreign cultures, but we do that because we want to taste new food (ahah just kidding). We're looking forward to meet new people, and we'll be happy to cook you some italian food if you decide to host us!

Quais são suas habilidades?

Elena has a little brother (12 years younger than her), so she had the chance to do a lot of practice with babysitting. She also volunteers in a day time centre where she teaches chess, whereas Nicole volunteers in a Residence for Minors, where she looks after kids, helps them with homework and plays with them.

We can help with homework, since Elena studied Philosophy, History and Literature and knows some languages (her English and Italian are fluent, and she's learning French, Chinese and Arabic), and Nicole is good with Maths and knows some Spanish and obviously Italian.
We both play guitar and like playing board games and videogames.
Nicole really likes painting with watercolors and can do crochet, so she can teach these things. Elena is quite good at drawing and playing chess, and willing to teach them.
In addition, we can do housechores and we can cook very well: we have been living away from our parents' house for a few years now, so we got the chance to master these skills.
We can teach you how to cook some italian dishes and we would love to learn new recepies together!
We also fancy walking in the nature and talking and getting to know new people!

Besides these things, we're particularly interested in gardening, because we love taking care of plants and we have some at home, but we wish to learn handcrafting and carpentry as well. We'd also like to experiment the farm life, and learn how to take care of animals.
We don't have a lot of practical experience in the last fields, but we have a lot of energy, curiosity and motivation to learn new things!
Every new challenge is an occasion to grow!
